‘Furious’: How will Prince Harry react to King Charles III’s uniform decision for Queen’s funeral? King Charles’s decree that only working royals can wear military uniforms at the Queen’s funeral next week, could be storing up problems with his son Prince Harry in the future. Some have praised the decision as ‘decisive’, but the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor Richard Eden believes the King is making a ‘mistake’. ‘While I think the King made the right decision in banning Harry and Andrew from wearing their uniforms. I think it was a mistake that he’s allowed Andrew to wear his for this vigil in front of the Queen’s coffin in Westminster Hall,’ he tells our royal talk show Palace Confidential. ‘It doesn’t seem right then for Prince Harry to then be denied any opportunity. I can’t see any logic behind that exception at all I’m afraid.’ He adds that Prince Harry will be understandably upset that his uncle Andrew is allowed to wear a vice-admiral’s uniform for the private event.
‘Let’s be clear, this decision by the king about the uniforms is a big, I mean, Prince Harry and Meghan’s admirers are furious about it,’ he adds. ‘I think it’s fair to say that when they return to California, we might be hearing more about this.’

  1. It is about being unfair. Making a difference between Prince Harry and Prince Andrew is a disgrace. When #racists are racists and are not willing to acknowledge it. I hope this news is incorrect. “…There are plenty of other non-working royals who are HRHs, of course. If the palace wants to now change the rules, going forward, to restrict the issuing of HRHs to “working royals” as opposed to grandchildren of the monarch, it is of course its right to do so. But that will represent a significant shift…

Prince Andrew’s daughters Beatrice and Eugenie spring to mind.

…And the only people to lose out (at least until Louis and Charlotte have kids) will be Harry’s children. Not a great look.” My take? The “darker skin” Commonwealth countries will no longer recognize U.K. Kings. UK’s influence will decline. That also will represent a shift, and the direct result of a racist “new” policy towards biracial grandchildren of #KingCharlesIII. Bye bye #William, hope you find a new job. https://www.yahoo.com/news/prince-archie-princess-lilibet-won-125521809.html #UK #RoyalFamily #VeryMuchARacistFamily

  2. Military law states
''Unlike in the US, where veterans often wear uniforms for special occasions, retired British military personnel are not allowed to wear uniform unless they are in an honorary appointment and had been authorized to wear one. Instead, they wear their military medals pinned to civilian clothes.''
Ceremonial roles excepted and in fairness, Andrew is a vice Admiral and is is ONLY for the vigil. Harry isn't taking part in the vigil so can't see what he has to complain about.

  3. Who cares how Harry will react. He's lost all authority to weigh in. An emotional week yet uplifting with the tributes, dignity love and respect for our beloved Queen. Long Live The King

  4. He has always been weak so not surprised that he will be a woke leader. I think William has shown more commen sense and strength. Charles just follows the leader and that will probably be Karl Schwab who's ideas are staving people. Big issue should be how to keep warm in winter and cool in summer

  5. Soldiers around the world pledged allegiance to their country , to upholds the constitution of their country, Harry is no different , when he left his country refused duties to the British People, embarrassed his Royal Families where his grandmother is the backbone of his country he should not expect to wear his uniform , in my opinion he commit treason to his country and people . Prince Andrew did not commit treason , he commit embarrassment to the Monarchy and Harry commit treason , trying to abolish the Monarchy that’s the difference between Andrew and Harry

  6. I’m as mad at Harry for the things he’s done the last 2-3 years as anyone but he did serve real time in the army; I mean he chose to step back from the royal family himself but I don’t think that should have snatched his army uniform away the same way they did to Andrew who was stripped of his titles due to his Epstein allegations.
If you aren’t gonna let him wear his uniform, why not just take away his hrh and his title as well? He shouldn’t be a person even in line for the throne. And Andrew shouldn’t either even though he’s still apparently in the line up somewhere way down the list for the throne as well.

  7. Wow, to watch a dominant tabloid smear campaign discussion , look like a news discussion is ridiculous. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but when someone dismisses anyone (cutting people off, raising their voice over others etc.) else who may have a different opinion, is hardly a healthy discussion.

  8. I think Harry and Megan should turn around and get back on their private jet to California. I feel their presence goes beyond hypocritical. The only reason they are sticking around is because they're hoping the Queen left them oodles of money. He's still planning on publishing his tell all book soon.If it wasn't for the love of the Queen, people would have booed them again. Such nasty entitled selfish little dim wits.

  9. Please, please…can people finally start calling Catherine by her given name, her preferred name and the name her friends and family call her? It’s been at least eleven years since she went from Kate (or disgusting waity Katie) (mostly a media diminution of her preferred name). She’s earned the right to be addressed as Catherine. And please retire Middleton!

  11. I am starting to stand up for Andrew. He was violated by a woman rightly or wrongly for MONEY. His lifestyle since has been fine. His daughters support him and Fergie supports him.
If I had a loved relative and this happened he would still be my brother,
And I would still love him. If Christ died on the cross for our sins, what right have we got to point fingers.
This family is a bunch of Hippocrates starting from the top down.

  12. mad about the uniform? Harry does not deserve to be present at the funeral of the person he betrayed, insulted her, and made her last years sad with his ingratitude with his vulgar wife.

  13. My parents did the pagan thing for awhile, bought all the royal dishes and trinkets, then went back to Christianity. Gotta resspect them though they did make it. Pagans and anti religious need a leader too, thanks Elizabeth and Charles

  14. The Queen was strong, bans her own son from wearing uniform strips him of everything. The Queen makes it perfectly clear to Harry you've gone so that is that no uniform . Not even in her grave and overturned by a weak King. One of the biggest mistakes ever by the palace. The Queens wishes for the preservation of the Crown overturned immediately, disgusting the monarchy will be on the back foot yet again.

  15. I mean Andrew is a pig, and an embarrassment to the royal family and I don’t think he should have worn his uniform either. However, Harry has made it so clear that he disrespects his family with his cruel interviews. He has consciously chosen to alienate himself. Sad but true and maybe his dad is making it clear how much Harry hurt his family. 💔❤️🇨🇦
