  1. Unfortunately I pre-ordered this one, and your review is spot on. I completely deleted the game a few levels in after dying multiple times in a row to what seemed to be a controls glitch. I had fallen off a platform, and when the game tried to respawn me at the save point, it either dropped me off to the side (directly over a cliff), or dropped me down with my character already moving in a random direction (which, since I was on a narrow path, led to walking off the edge without ever touching a button). That, combined with the extremely oversensitive controls and the near constant frustration of the gun always wanting to aim itself to the side of where I needed it was plenty for me to call it quits.

The concept for this game is decent, but it needs a lot of work. I'm all for challenging games, but this is just a loose, glitchy mess.

  2. One thing is that the devs made a adorable and very emotive main character. Apperantly from all the reviews I have seen the races are definitely the worst part of the game but everyone loves the music. I may get it when it's in a good sale because I've never been a fan of platformers.

  3. Platformers really have to hit for me. I am a fan of the Marios and Crash and so forth. Others like Celeste grab my interest too. This just doesn't do it for me, the off center targeting seems flawed and its reminiscent of the early days of 3D platformers but does not run as well as them. Gladly, this was never on my radar to begin with.

  4. Well, after just learning of this game, I was going to get it. Love 2 and 3d platformers, but after seeing some reviews all complaining about the controls, I'll pass. I can understand if it was an Rpg, but for a platformer, controls are the most important thing.
