I wonder if people ever say a train sounds like a tornado.
Not only was it a nocturnal tornado. But because of the fact it was over water the warnings were delayed. I live just a few blocks over from the devastation. We got the warnings just a few minutes before it was on top of us. I understand the labeling of a water spot but I don't feel they are taken seriously enough before hitting land. This one was large and very well formed long before coming on shore. As far as a train. It feels like a train within inches of your feet. But the screaming whistle of the wind is deafening. I could still feel the roar of it in my body hours later.
