FLAT OUT (The History of Rally) – Episode 13 – The Path to the Future

FLAT OUT is the video series covering the history of rally from its beginnings way back in the 19th century, its evolution and where it is today, all the while looking at some of the greatest cars, drivers and courses to grace the worldwide sport.

Episode 13 covers roughly the years of 2015 – 2019. This period of time was all about the modernisation of the sport in the lead up to the modern day. With the looming implementation of electric vehicles, who would take this opportunity to give the traditional combustion engine a good send off?

  4. I think we are entering one of those Group B era again, because the cars are getting insanely fast, of course in straight line Group B still faster, but that also will soon change if they allow for some changes in restrictions, they should think about it, because today's safety is good enough to take that risk.

P.S.: Thanks for this series of videos you made, really helps to get the basics of rally history.
