Fixing My Jeep Death Wobble

The drag link on my jeep had a bad ball joint on the passenger side and was causing death wobble. I told my wife it would “pop”, probably should have described it better. Her head was right next to the part so she thought the jeep was coming down on her😅 #livingouramericandream #jeep #deathwobble #jeeplife #diymechanic #doityourself

  1. Been down this road a ton of times, yes the draglink is bad but it isn't the cause. It will keep it good for a while but it will go bad prematurely because it's the tie rod ends causing too much toe out and then compounded by the lack of caster. Normal is 3-4° but they need more like 6-7° do it all or just keep replacing the draglink every other year.

  2. Steering dampener usually does it. I’ve been a Chrysler dodge and Jeep tech for a few years now and have replaced alot of steering dampener for this concern.
