Fired on Mars is the newest adult animated series to hit HBO Max and it clears the platform wants this cartoon to DIE as they’ve completely sabotaged the success of its first season. Why is HBO Max hellbent on dooming this show, and why is Pete Davidson in the thumbnail?!

  1. Fired on Mars is a show I think should get a second season, because I see potential! If I read the title and you said Velma was the cartoon to die, that’s understandable, because I can’t stand anything about it. I haven’t even watched it and I don’t need to after reading the reviews. But Fired on Mars looks very good.

  2. I keep hearing about this show. I guess I’ll check it out soon-ish. Also, did you guys hear about the Micronauts cartoon? 52 episodes completed back in 2020, only to be written off for a tax break, even before Zaslav’s stunts last year.

  3. Omg it hasn’t been showing up on my feed either !! Didn’t know it could be suppression related and that’s hella disappointing for this dope show

  4. just finished it.
certainly different, felt a weird range of emotions watching it that made me have to pause for a bit before I finished it at times. But i think overall I liked it and glad that it exists. I hope HBO Max gets proven wrong and the word gets spread about this show in a creative way to spread it around…is there a way to meme this show and spread it around on various platforms that get it into the cultural consciousness? I know that is one way to easily spread something these days. Something via an image with captions that connects to something that connects to a human emotion or just highlights a funny part or a weird part. Also short form video via Reels or TikTok would probably work.

But I'm kind of stuck and am not sure how exactly you could cut up and spread something like this…I wonder if aside from the political idea reasons that Vox has mentioned one of the other reasons this show hasn't gotten much marketing is because the marketing team saw this show and got stumped. And they couldn't figure out how to market it aside from the example tweets and the appearances here and there on people's recommended sections on HBO Max.

Maybe somebody outside the marketing department of Warner Bros Discovery can think of a better way of spreading this around? and one they figure out the perfect way to do it, it could pick up like a growing snowball and catch the right attention to the higher ups?…this is all just best case scenario and a hope.

  5. I regret watching this show.
I loved it. Its been a while since a show has kept me at the edge of my seat. The reason i said regret is because i know hbo max will cancel this. Look at how much the push for velma was. Velma was literally everywhere.

And fired from mars only gets one trailer and one tweet. I do hope we get another batch of episodes that wrap things up somewhat nicely

  8. This show is really good. Extremely painful and horrible to watch the first time. I wanted to punch the fuck out of my TV. I recently quit my job and when the character was going through all that it touch a little bit too much home. Other than that a lot of people are not going to watch it due to seeing the same repetitive bull shit they just to. In television everyone always love one another and are friends at the end of the day. This show changes that it as it shows how realistic the world really is. People are evil they use one another, step over the weak and climb ahead just to get their own interests. This show also resembles a lot of what king of hill animation is. As well as a message of the future of mars colonization.
