  1. Im sorry. Some people are complaining about the audio in this video. This has not happened in a while.
Fate and prophecy in The Greek Games and Norse games have finally been explained! What are your thoughts!?

  2. It's annoying that people expected Ragnarok story to be as good as 2018. When 2018 was perfect well besides how quickly Atreus became a lil sht head without a proper build up. Ragnarok has its flaws in the story but if 2018 was a 9.5 Ragnarok is a 9.0

  3. If Faye was the one who destroyed the mural in Jotunheim at the end of the first game, why did she leave the part that Kratos saw of him dead behind the curtain undamaged?

  4. I have a question and I think this is a plot hole for the WHOLE God of War lore, it's about the Sisters of Fate and the Threads of Fate. It's an in-game dialogue of Kratos, Mimir and Freya. Kratos said that the Threads of Fate span across ALL LIFE AND TIME, and used the power of the Sisters and turn it against Zeus, and we see him in God of War 2 in-game using the Threads of Fate to go back in time to collect the Titans in order for Kratos have an army to defeat Olympus. My gripe here is this, you said that there is no such thing as Fate, but if that is true then the Sister of Fate and the Threads of Fate should NOT EXIST. What I think is that FATE is like a BOOK, metaphorically speaking, and the Norns are just READERS of the book, while the Sisters of Fate are the AUTHORS and the Threads of Fate is there PEN to write the BOOK i.e Fate. Freya, in that conversation, was bewildered that Kratos has done such a thing, "That's the most reckless thing I've ever heard, the Norns have NO SUCH MAGIC, nor do anyone in these lands that I've heard." Freya, a vanir goddess, who was married to Odin for who knows how long, said NO ONE has that kind of magic/power. It's either there is no fate, or Kratos is just that Broken of a character.

"The hands of Death could not defeat me, the Sisters of Fate could not HOLD me, and you will not see the end of this day, I will have my revenge." —GOW3 Kratos

  5. This is actually really convincing and will probably be my take on the ending from now on. Initially I had thought that Atreus had taken advantage of a vague line within the prophecy, something along the lines of “his father will die”, and then found an alternative when Odin, the All-FATHER, who had acted as a pseudo-father during his stay in Asgard was placed in Kratos’ stead getting his soul mumbo-jumbo getting sucked out. The scene where he puts Odin’s soul in the marble also echoed the etching very well so I had thought that it had more to do with using the prophecy to his advantage rather than him inverting it. But this makes a lot more sense thematically with re-writing fate and such, thanks for the vid.

  6. Kratos became the new god of war who fought for peace. Like original Tyr. I think he will go to new lands to spread his message of peace or other gods from ireland or egypt or mayan might come over to take norse realm and kratos might have to defend it with adult atreus.

Or here is crazy theory, what about Kratos returning to Greece to rebuild greece after realizing his mistake and wants to right his wrongs completely.

  7. ok from what i see that mural already happened but we have to come back way to god of war 2 or was it 3 when kratos time traveled back in time to when zeus was about to kill kratos remember we dont know what happens to that kratos so there are 2 kratos' in the same timeline so the same things happen up to god of war 3 but since this was the first timeline where kratos did not travel back in time yet everything happens and kratos was too weak against his battle with thor atreus uses the sofna spell and his soul is then put into jormungandr and atreus still named loki gets adopted by odin with hol and skadi following atreus

faye sees the vision breaks the fate's shrine in jotunheim earned her the giant's curse that shortens her lifespan and prepared for the day that was promised but not before asking her son to spread her ashes atop jotunheim itself

  8. What I don't like of this plot point is that I always found his original "fate" of being killed by Thor as hard to take. I know Kratos it's not the same angry destroyer from greece, but he should be canonically stronger than Thor. Hard match, hard figth, but he should win one on one under most circumstances. For a long time fan wich played the 6 greek games and always choose kratos in the good deal of fighting games he has been, I know of what he is capable of. Still not sure how he avoided death by Thor by sparing him, but the implication that if Kratos tried to kill Thor he would fail and die kinda bothers me. Not complaining, I understand the narrative need for that, but still, come on, Kratos is stronger than Thor, just wanted that a bit more clear.

  9. Kratos' nature isn't just to kill Gods as the Norns put it, it's nasty retribution and revenge; he cuts off Hermes' legs for insulting him, he snaps Hera's neck for insulting Pandora, he smashes Hercules' face in for trying to kill him after trying to talk him out of it, he kills Hespestus and broke his neck for trying to smash him, he snaps Baldur's neck when he refused to back down, and he blows off Heimdall's arm, chokes him to death, and probably would've done worse because he threatened his son. He changed his nature when he stopped going for revenge. It's why he lived when it was prophecied Thor would kill him. I just don't like how the Norns say he just kills gods without the context of how reasonable he tries to be with them.

  10. I think Faye was just the compass that Kratos needed to see the better path. Like you said, he had been manipulated his entire life by the gods and all they kept showing him was evil and lies. By the end of the game he realizes through Freya and Atraus that it's all about the intent of your actions.

  11. In out hindu vedic astrology, the future they tell most of the time come true. but even in our oldest texts it's written by creators of astrology said that the future told is based on your nature when you were born. If you change your nature while growing up then the astrology no longer applies because future will be different. This is the reason why our astrology sometimes not work for some people. Astrology is more of a means to know who you are and how you can "be better".

  12. Kratos out here proving everyone wrong. How many including me thought we would kill Thor as Kratos and take his hammer? Personally I am happy with not keeping the hammer, giving it to (you know who) was a great idea.

  13. Still doesn't explain the fact that kratos if he wanted to kill thor, he could have. He really was quite strong the second time when he faced and even had an upper hand against thor even though thor this time wanted to kill him fair and square. Yet, how not choosing to fight thor further on prevented his death? It's soo confusing. And i thought kratos couldn't be killed since he has a curse? Or does it work only in Greece and not in midgard?
