Fallout 4: Sim Settlements 2 continues, as we set off in pursuit of Jake, but it turns out the Gunners have been hitting my allies across the Commonwealth, and thus we may need to try a more subtle approach…

Fallout London?
Star Control Date 0015. I think. I don’t know. I have a headache and just woke up from a nap. Anyways. It’s day fifteen of me asking Jon to play star control 2 because it’s his favorite game and he just doesn’t know it.
Can Jon's voice get more nasal? It has become much more pronounced in the last few months. 2 years ago compared to now is really noticeable.
Day 21/1230 of requesting Jon play a game nobody will remember, like Majesty: A Fantasy Kingdom Sim. Would Jon notice a blatant skipping of days?
we the people of the comment section need either longer episodes or for u to switch this series with trashfield….. i mean starfield.
Oh look, the ramifications of having a low charisma when playing a character that's supposed to be a leader type. Guess we can't exploit the outfit swap trick huh? Shame. Maybe invest in Charisma for a change.
Day 0021/1230 of requesting Jon read Macbeth to us with accompanying funny voices for the characters. Looks like this gamble came up Jake eyes for the Gunners.
Jon's terrible luck with legendaries is the b8ggest reason I have a 'scrap legendaries' mod. Every legendary I scrap gives me materials to put towards installing a custom legendary effect on equipment i already use.
Damn — they really did a good job with this mod and these quests! The cutscenes they managed to implement are particularly impressive. And I'm intrigued by Algernon — is he telling the truth when he says that the Gunners used to be more honorable? I guess we'll see. . .that is, if Aidan keeps to shadowing him and doesn't give in to his Gunner bloodlust. (And him being an ex-Minuteman probably says it all — bet you anything he was involved in Quincy.)
This mod is amazing. Great series Jon!
Jon have you considered using refreshing beverages?
Also don't forget to loot the tatos, mutfruit, and corn in Diamond City and other farms like Abernathy to combine with Purified water for free adhesive at cooking stations. Abernathy especially is a great source of free tatos with most of their crop respawning every few days or so.
I love how the mod makes a big deal about the lockdown and he just runs around like no one will care and continues to do so even after getting called out by guards.
This is surprisingly well done. Seems like a solid story in this mod so far.
Best example of how good penetrator is with sentry bot imo.
It's a shame you didn’t recruit Wise…
Jon, the sniper perk (the 8th under perception) at the second level gives you a knockdown chance on non-automatic rifles. Think "And Stay Back" from New Vegas. Pair that with the quickly firing laser rifle and I have found that you can perma knockdown most enemies.
Wow no reaction to the energy revolver?! That looks so neat!
If you come clean with Wise you can kind of recruit him which comes in handy later on
Unpaid mod does better storytelling than Bethesda. With actual cutscenes.
Day 7 of asking Jon to make a video on Skies of Arcadia. God damn, this mod just keeps surprising, would not have expected to be infiltrating the gunners in a settlement expansion
Comment.
Man, Algernon sure has a great voice
easier checks due to perks? what is this, a fallout game?
This is such a more nuanced look at the gunners, Bethesda seriously needs to look at this mod for what people want out of the writing and gameplay. This is so much better than the consistent shallow characterisation we usually get (Starfield has been an improvement admittedly) and the settlements are a significant improvement – hire these modders to help you step up your games, Bethesda!
How is it, that the storytelling and mechanics of a fan mod are WAY better then the maingame?
And now the trouble bee
blows me away how they even added cutscenes into the game like this. Don't even see that kind of thing in the vanilla game except like when Piper is at DC gate? Is there anything else even close to it?
"Mysterious Backers" wonder who that could be…
41:25 And you see a white haired guy wearing a black cloak with a sword at his hip while returning to the hardware store. A certain song is playing in the background…
I think you forgot to retrieve your gear at the beginning of the gunner vault
the idiot savant "Meow" response really reminds me of the Malkavian player's dialogue in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines
incidentally that's a game I think Jon would enjoy (but I'm not gonna start asking for it in comments on every video)
When Jake got kidnapped I went the "kill everything that opposes me" route, meaning i killed everyone except the door guard, Wise, and Algernon.
32:35 is so much funnier when the vid is sped up at twice the speed
Ha ha ha! 🤣 "His poor sad scarf just sitting on the ground, which we can't even pick up" That made me laugh.
Algernon has that Geralt look from Witcher 3
I'm very suspicious of how tight-lipped Jon's been about Fallout London
I can't wait to see how spectical island turns out
Bacon would have liked seeing the Troubleshooters Machete. Just saying. Though she'd already be kitted out with General Chao's…
You think an easy skill check tied to a perk is fun? You should have taken Awareness early on….
I am having a love hate relationship with this series. I didn't realize there was going to be this much story to it. I thought it was just a settlement building mechanism. As these sorts of mods go, I think it stands out pretty highly, and it does provide an excuse for more Fallout content, but it makes me realize that there's probably not a lot left to do with the unmodded games, which I find a little sad.,
this is taking so long i bought a new xbox and played through to chapter 3 just to find out what's going on xD
Im actually disappointed when you VATSed the Ron he didnt have broken legs 😛
You should swing by Bunker Hill and get/turn in the National Guard Training Yard quest – then you can get the kill the raiders quest. You should noclip to check out what Knight Varhim is wearing under his power armor frame. (At BOS ambush site)
Shotguns show VATS damage of all their pellets hitting a target. Something that almost never happens at long range.
I half expect you to kill that "Grizzly" person, and the "old hunter" jumps out saying "OHHH!!! I've been tracking that bigfoot for a week, and was just trying to get the right setup on it!!"
Lesson of this episode: you can go anywhere and steal everything not nailed down, as long as you say "Maintenance!"
Oh – unsure if you'll see this comment, but if you do: you should totally look around your surroundings the next time you exit Diamond City. Just sayin, yanno
New face to the Gunners! I'm a fan.
This mod is incredible
Jake from state farm
Mayor Bob walking into a Gunner stronghold wearing the uniform of the Minutemen may have actually saved him. The Gunners are (according to a ton of scrapped content) an offshoot of the Minutemen. Many high ranking members are former Minutemen.
So seeing a new guy wearing the Minutemen uniform isn't immediately a red flag. Wise likely assumed that Mayor Bob was a Minutemen defector.
Great series. Honestly in my opinion this storyline is alot better than the vanilla storyline. Can't wait to see where it goes
