  1. Honestly, one thing I'd like to see mentioned in a second part to this is the fact that Kirby was the sole survivor of Galeem's initial onslaught in World Of Light not because of any bias from Sakurai, but rather for multiple other reasons, such as Kirby being part of the original eight fighters in Smash Bros. 64 who are unlocked from the get-go, as well as the fact that the Warp Star is able to warp to other locations and the fact that Kirby is a beginner character in the Super Smash Bros. series. Sakurai also mentioned that the only other characters he could see surviving the onslaught were Palutena and Bayonetta, but due to them not debuting in Smash 64, as well as the fact that they aren't nearly as beginner-friendly as Kirby is moveset-wise, this didn't happen.

Oh, and I'd also like to point out that the same guy behind the Rayman leak for Smash 3DS & Wii U was also behind an earlier, lesser known leak for the same game, with the leaked character in question being Klonoa. It's a smaller thing, I know, but I'd love for it to be mentioned anyway because it's a more obscure piece of Smash Bros. history with ties to an even bigger leak, and Klonoa needs more love in general. Great work on this!

  2. All of this information is about the deranged side of the community that would sell their soul for a sliver of information on the games earlier than normal because most normal people don't know about their shenanigans

  3. Not sure if this would fit an Iceberg 2, but when Steve was revealed in October 2020, Twitter went down for a couple hours. I think a lot of people speculate that its because of the insane reaction/hype to Steve's reveal that the site went down from so much traffic.

  4. 45:08 i doubt that ig it wasn't a fighter from rhythm heaven but something else related to that serie such an stage or music bc we also have the miiplaza, tomodachi and nintendogs in the emblems

  5. 21:30 not quite. Master hand can be triggered with any player, it simply has to not have a character selected during the glitch. Player 3 is the only slot that can play / control Master Hand, though.
28:30 this only exists in the 1.00 version of Melee, not later versions.
49:44 also not quite right. The reason Sheik is listed before Zelda is because Sheik was confirmed as a fighter by Sakurai on the Melee DOJO website first, and Zelda was only revealed as a fighter later when Sakurai surprised people with Sheik's down B.

  6. If the chairs did mean anything my best guess is banjo and hero. They were revealed the same day and their background on the website are purple and yellow. I doubt the chairs meant anything but IF they did thats my best guess.

  7. I remember the chair theory as being some of the biggest, collective copiums I've ever seen from this community. Cannot believe people genuinely believed that, even for a second. But… It was funny!

  8. Wait, about Master Hand, if I'm not mistaken :

Master Hand (in Melee) had an ID of 0, so if in the chara select screen, you didn't chose any and did the glitch, MH will be picked. The only thing that has to do with the 3rd controller port is that for some reason, it's the only port in which you can control MH.

  9. 3:45 Not Really, the Roy in Fire Emblem is also like this, he isn't as collected calm and pacifist as Marth. In his game for example there's a lot of situations where Marth would try to avoid conflict somehow but instead Roy yells "We'll take the whole castle!", Nintendo's relationship with Intelligent Systems games might allowed Sakurai to take a good look at Roy before portraying him on smash, Sakurai is very meticulous about how he portrays characters in Smash so it doesn't sound right to think he designed Roy blindly, also nice bait you son of a bitch.

  10. I just keep wondering that ghost's name on ssb 3ds, wii u, and ultimate that evolves into a freakin demon in the intensity screens. I know its to represent how difficult classic mode you selected but I just have alot of questions.

  11. The fighters ballot will always be so angering to me. I'd imagine Bayonetta wasn't even top 15 and there were very likely many more recognizable characters ahead of Bayonetta. She then went on to kill Smash 4.

  12. The supposed crowd chant for the Ice Climbers is actually untrue. The footage shown is from a Japanese build of the game, and crowd is actually chanting "mura no soncho," which means "mayor of the village." Incidentally, the audio quality is grainy and hard to hear, thus allowing it to be misheard
