This is an educational tutorial on how to survive in and conquer Fallout 3’s DLC Point Lookout, when going there immediately after the tutorial and only using the items and enemies in that location, of course, without ever leaving Point Lookout.

The reason you ran out of stimpaks is because the double barrel shotgun is bugged and deals way more damage than it should, so swampfolk are unintentionally OP.
Okay I’m 1:19 seconds in and I spat my drink out at that hairline comment. Poor Wally 😂
no smuggler's confession, no ruzka, no replacing the bulb in the lighthouse… 🙁
Point lookout and The Pitt are genuinely amazing. Far better than the main quest
Another fantastic video
This DLC can be summed up with the Dwight Latham song " I'm my own grandpa"
There is a lot of good stuff on sunken ships and under buoys. Some shipwrecks are unmarked too, I remember there is one unmarked in south-west corner
This is probably one of the best DLC locations from any bethesda game I have personally played. They really nailed the design and atmosphere.
Just the first few seconds is making me do it myself I'll keep it updated in the replies
Didn't do the safari, and I don't think you fixed the lighthouse either. 0/10
That hairline joke was so funny. My friend Houston literally had a receding hairline and 5 o'clock shadow in 5th grade so that made me think of him lol
I fondly remember playing this DLC and being completely engrossed in it. This video brought back a lot of memories. There was soooooo much exploration and I absolutely loved helping defend the mansion and remember later being shocked that it got blown up. I was very sad when the missionary got killed later on. Fallout 3 is amazing.
Swampletics Fallout edition.
Desmonds VA actually did the morrowind dark elf voices. Never made the connection before lol
Did he name himself Jebediah not knowing one of the main characters in this dlc has the same name?
Since fallout 3 is the only one i played, this was one of my favorite DLCs(on par with Pittsburg).
This was amazing to watch and to see someone who never played it.
I hope you have the other dlcs planned as well, as some of them are kinda do-able in the "region lock" challenge
Would be nice to see the fo4 point look out mod in comparison
why do so many people think catholics aren't christian? catholicism is literally the largest denomination of christianity
2:20
I only just then got the "Two dungeon exits" reference and laughed out loud. Thank you for that, I enjoyed it.
I played and finished this dlc for the first time yesterday. Im happy I can finally understand stuff without spoilers
Wealth beyond measure, Joov
You sound familiar…. J1mmy??? Dat you???
Just because I don’t see another comment about this so far (sorry if there is & I missed it), I looked it up and Desmond absolutely has the same voice actor as Jiub! I love that you noticed that too because (as someone who’s never had the chance to play Morrowind but loves a good Joov or young scrolls vid) I immediately had the same thought.
Anyway, as always your videos are a treat to watch! It’s been a long week and I’m pretty sure I caught a cold so this is a great pick-me-up!
Funny your character’s name is Jeb. I once played a Fallout online Roleplay project and one character in game was named Jeb and was supposed to be one of those uneducated southern guys, and the fact that this DLC’s swamp folk are just that, it’s a bit of a coincidence.
"Why was he Naruto Running at me?"
No clue, why did you put a round through BOTH HIS NUTS AND HIS INBRED SHMEAT?!?!
The guy @13:20 reminds me of Richard Harrow from Boardwalk Empire.
Can’t wait for far harbor
Finallyyyyyy
great video! glad i could tune in for a bit of the stream too 🙂
Frankly, I'm disappointed. You either missed or did not show yourself indulging in the finest activity point lookout has to offer: playing around with the ill-fated concept of juggling and/or throwing the swamp bubbles.
Calvert would fit perfectly into Big MT. He has the right mad scientist mindset and has left his humanity behind.
That bridge ambush with the hillbillies is still the most frightening and dangerous FO3 experience I can remember.
Truly hellish, mostly because "Herpa derp, extra unblockable damage, no matter your armor" seriously, who thought that was a fun and good idea?
New Vegas without leaving Sierra Madre
