With the Western Release of Lost Ark just around the corner, many players are wondering which class they should pick as well as what they should expect when journeying through this highly anticipated MMORPG. In this video, I will cover almost everything you need to know when deciding to play Lost Ark, including all of the tips, and more importantly, discuss all of the mistakes I made early on.

By the end of this video, you should have a better idea of how engravings work, Server-wide systems, the importance of alt characters, and more. Additionally, I will provide video explanations down below of Gearing / Engravings, Cards, Affinity, and the Lifeskilling / Stronghold / Estate system. The last thing I wanted to mention is that many of the things mentioned in this video ARE technically optional. However, after playing the game for so long, I would recommend you do most of them.   3. I dont understand why all content creators leave aside the insane gear grinding it has, It is really insane and you need cash shop else you falling behind quite quickly. Also please gear matters a lot in the endgame pvp of LA which is GvG. Arenas are just a casual content which is a circle to spam abilities in, its not the endgame pvp and barely rewards you like GvG does. Game has a lot of content though but if you want to main the game it gets pretty expensive.

  18. i just want to say that i think you've always been a positive dude, and informative streamer when i was doing WoW PvP. i quit playing WoW to shortly after the Blizzard scandal surfaced, and it became obvious that we were no longer getting the content we were paying for. I played New World from launch after 2 rounds of beta testing, and while i still really like the weapon system, the game left a lot to be desired.

    when i saw that you were no longer streaming WoW content, and had your eye on Lost Ark, i started paying attention to it, in part because i wanted to support you as a streamer because you've always struck me as genuine and positive. i preordered, and i've been playing the game the past couple days, and i'll admit…. it isn't what i expected. i do really like the game, but it does lack something of the immersive feel of other mmos and i chalk this up to the click to move and isometric view components of the game. the game is also heavily instanced, and some parts divide a party up into solo instances, which does detract from the immersion.

    as i said, i do really enjoy the game, and i've just started, there's so much more to learn and take in before i can make an informed judgement on the game as a whole. it's just maybe not entirely what i expected. nonetheless, i'm happy to have added it to my library, i'm still putting in time because it's a fresh new thing, and a break in the monotony of the Mechwarrior Online i've been playing pretty heavily for a few months now (i LOVE that game, but need breaks from time to time to play other things).

    i'm still loving your streams, and i'm glad to see you having such a great time, and hoping this change of focus for your content hasn't cost you any more viewers than you've gained. you'll continue to be my go-to source for Lost Ark info, and it's just great to see you still at your thing (although, i just noticed your Youtube description still says you're a WoW content creator, you might want to update that). thanks for offering us WoW ex-pats another option. even if Lost Ark isn't my forever MMO, i'm excited about the future, and feel that WoW had a great run, but that we're past due for the next great MMORPG and these options like New World, Lost Ark, Elden Ring, Ashes of Creation, and Mortal Online 2 are great signs for the gaming community in general. since putting down WoW and exploring other options, i'm ultimately enjoying gaming more.

  22. Two more essentials. The queues are ridiculous Amazon has just to supply enough servers as the game is 3 years old. Simple. Wrong. There was a minimum half hour to an hour queue on a Monday morning. 🤦
    When you do log in on the EU servers you are then in for a treat every half hour. In the area chat someone say "c'est un server Francais". Then all hell will break loose with every other language speaker that was managing by speaking English till then. The honest requests for groups or help with a boss gets lost in spam. It would be fine if these bursts didn't last approx 29 mins with about 1 min ceasefire before the next troll states it is an English server. It is mentally draining. Be warned.
    Amazon, smiles don't seem to be bothered fixing both of these things I wish I knew before I bought / downloaded the game. 👍😳
    During prelaunch it was fun but now pretty crazy. You have nothing to loose but your time queuing and your sanity. …. Avoid calvasus. 😁
