Sethbling did 2 "Redstone Regression" videos with Grumm (yes, dev Grumm) WAY back in the day, and i think it still holds up as a good primer for redstone beginners.
I think the unstripped cherry blossom log would look good alongside some spruce or dark oak in a rustic log cabin type build.
One thing I really like about the cherry wood logs is they're almost the exact same color as nether bricks
man i love this world to death, been following since chocolate island but seeing this update really makes me sad to think it might soon be time for a new world to actually get to explore these new features since like 80% of the new features cant be generated anymore with how much more you gotta generate to find them. we really do be gettin old huh

i am definatly creating my enchanted book storage using the new bookshelf! this is now my favorite thing added into the game in 1.20 (followed closely by the armor change)
what has it been, 20 whole updates since just this world started! then you also have the 1 alpha and a few beta updates in world 1 too. it sure has come a long way, keep it up & love the content

Bamboo makes fences, etho'slabs, stairs, etc. 2 etho's make that mosaic block.
Cherry wood and skulk. The compo is amazing.
What is the two sticks in the recipe book?
I can't find that recipe in my game.
I even checked in creative mode and cannot find it.
It looks just like the stick icon but it's 2 sticks parallel to each other.

Technically you can separate enchanted books with Allays, no? Obviously not practical for some uses but works if you're just looking for one book
All of the ceramic pots breaking was soothing on my brain lol.
Does anyone know if the chiseled bookshelves work with the enchantment table?

Since hoppers can put books and enchanted books into chiseled bookshelves, you can use that for sorting
Redstone and Quartz would fit with both Kakashi's look and Etho's character.
Etho!!!! You should do a series with bdubs where you teach him red stone in simple stages, give him homework to gain experience and he’ll come back to learn more. You could possibly get other hermits involved too.
