It's hard coming in, mid conversation. I will definitely be listening back, on the replay. I came in on the sushi.
Should ask him karete would help him last a minute or two against Haku lol
The Cat… What a great guest. Super entertaining.
He should tell the story when he kicked Scott Norton in the jaw and left the building with his gear still on look it up on Nortons interview.
“The Cat” always rocked the house. “The Wrestler” is an all time classic now. I can watch it over and over. Can’t say the same about the “Iron Claw”. Another great guest and show guys.
He was bullshitting on the Dana White stuff. Ernest debuted in WCW in February of 1997….Dana first got involved with the UFC as the manager of Tito Ortiz, whose first fight in the UFC was in May of 1997. Dana had nothing to do with Don Frye & Dan Severn…..It's possible Ernest is just mixing up facts and assumed Dana White was involved when he wasn't…..The people in charge of the UFC in 1996/1997 were Bob Meyrowitz & Art Davie.
His podcast is good, he don’t really promote it like he should
He is so full of shit.
Sharmell (Booker T's wife) was the one who made the connection happen between James Brown and WCW. Her and James remained friends and kept in contact after her run as one of his back up dancers back in the day. I bring this up because it seems like she never gets credit for it and that was arguably the biggest get WCW ever got was Sharmell getting him, the godfather of soul to agree to appear on that pay per view after she brought to light she knew him, they were friends, and he was a wrestling fan.
