Very well thought out and created set of buildings! There is nothing quite like the rush one gets as the creative juices flow while building a MOC! Very nice detail. Love the custom built escalators!
My only suggestion would be rather than having a video store (which is sort of a thing of the past) you may want to convert it into a store for selling cell phones, laptops, tablets etc.

Vey well executed mini mall. Like that there are a lot of different stores. And of course a Lego store. That sliding fence to the monorail is a nice touch. Probadly I would use one colour (white) and placed some end markers on the sliding part. But very curious for the further development of this build 😃👍

I'd personally include a staircase, even if it's external. If the elevator breaks down, there is stairs.
