Happy New Year! Season 2, episode 5 is here. Our guy Dominic is still home taking it easy, recuperating. As such, Connor, Mark, and Erica talk some surprisingly insider baseball with the incredible journeyman actor Gregg Henry, known to the world for his roles in huge movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, Slither, Payback, etc., and for being in nearly every notable television show since the β80s β a great βbeen in everythingβ actor, he is better known to us Trek fans for his role as the Arkonian pilot notorious for shooting down Trip Tucker (Trinneer) and having one of those βwe are enemies stuck on a planet and donβt understand each otherβ episodes in Enterprise episode βDawn.β He also played Gallatin, the good hearted bad guy in Star Trek: Insurrection. Notably (for us), he ALSO played Sheriff Bourne in an episode of Firefly.
Above and beyond being a real actorβs actor, Gregg Henry is also a remarkable blues pianist and musician, known by his full name Gregg Lee Henry, he was kind enough to tickle the upright with his original βYou the One.β He discussed working with great directors like Brian de Palma and James Gunn, wearing Trek makeup, fighting with Connor, his politically charged performance as Caesar, and how amazing Angela Lansbury was to work with, and more. Erica gets some fan questions in, Connor and Gregg play for Patreon Member Eve England in this weekβs Star Trek Trivia, and we all get a peek at the Patreon exclusive games βStuck on a Deserted Island with Connor Trinneerβ and βDo We Know Our Own Guest?β

I canβt believe weβre up to episode 5 already !! Wow. Wishing Dominic well !! β€
I'm really starting enjoy my Sunday morning Shuttlepod tradition! Coffee and Trek talk! What could be better?
Fun discussion as always — thanks @Shuttlepod Show !
Wishing Dominic well!!ππ
How did Dominic hurt himself?
β€β€β€β€β€
Been a fan of Mr. Henry since Body Double!
Great show, keep up the wonderful work. Get well soon, Dominic. We miss you.
Another lovely Sunday morning with the Shuttlepod Show! Connor, Erica and Mark did a great job interviewing Gregg and had a blast with #ChatPack 3.0!!
Well wishes to Dom and a speedy recovery!!
Great episode! Dawn is one of my favorite episodes, it was nice to hear from Gregg. Bonne AnnΓ©e!
Connor, Erica and Mark – congrats on another thrilling episode! Gregg was a lovely guest, a nice contrast to all the quote on quote "more prolific" and well known actors we've had so far this season. It was nice to hear from someone with such a varied body of work that wasn't solely Trek focused but who still had that connection to the franchise. I enjoy when the guests turn out to have a musical background, it's very cool to hear a snippet of their pieces. I can only imagine what it was like doing that performance of Caesar and people having such a visceral reaction to your performance, but it sounds like he handled it well. I really liked the return of Stuck on a Deserted Islandβ’, I'd love to see it brought back for future episodes! I can picture it being introduced each time with a fancy little title card and a sparkle sound effect as the text appears on screen, haha. As always, I can't wait to see what is in store for the next episode! Happy Shuttlepod Sunday and New Year one and all! π₯³πππ
Can we start a badass rumor about what happened to Dominic? Like, "oh hey, I heard he found a bus full of orphans that was teetering off a cliff about to fall onto a bus full of puppies and kittens and single-handedly pulled the bus back up but then tripped and fell so he's currently recovering."
Felt like the first episode that didn't really fit the podcast.
Great time on @Shuttlepod Show with Gregg Henry ! This was an interview to look forward to and great questions by our esteemed @Eve England ! β€πππ€ππΎ
Thanks for another great, enjoyable episode of your show. From the bottom of my heart, thanks to ALL of you. Mark, you have integrated well! Keep on getting better Dominic. I know you are disappointed because you can't be on board, we miss you, but health comes first my dearest. π€π»
Insurrection's 25th. While not a great movie, it would be the last time we see Picard the Action Hero.
Hellooooo again producer Mark, Ericka and Connor. I'm so thankful Gregg spoke about Scandal and shouted out Kerry Washington as it is my show and Kerry Washington is my fav actress. Can't believe Gregg is also Star Trek…so so very cool.
Send all of our best wishes to that absolute legend Dominic who is sorely missed. Get well soon mate.
This was very enjoyable even without Dom π’, Hurry and get well soon Dominic. I miss you much. π€&π
Another great episode….keep up the great work guys and Happy New Years ….get better soon Dom
Put Wash in a bigger pot ASAP π π»π
Great podcast as always guys. Happy New Year and get well soon Dominic.
Another great episode and fascinating guest. Happy New Year everyone π₯ and continued well wishes to Dominic for his recovery. π€
How does this pod cast just keep being soooo good? Brilliant actors on acting, AND FIREFLY, and , of course, Star Trek inside and out. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ. Get better soon Dom. ππΌπππΌ 2023 is looking great. β€
That was a cool interview and a great start for 2023. I wish the entire Shuttlepod Show team a happy new year, especially best wishes for Dominic's recovery.
I liked how Connor caressed Porthos during the interview, a little bit casually, but still lovingly.
I've really enjoyed the few episodes I've watched thus far (especially with Rick Berman). I plan to watch the rest soon. I just wanted to write to wish Dom a speedy recovery. Get well soon!
SuPerb I can see triP tucker cominG back cooL
I am of course not blaming the actors it was an excellent episode. But I remember when it came out there was a huge scandal that it plagerized the movie Enemy Mine. The alien character even looked like Lou Gossett's alien from the other movie
Their episode together was so good.
This show was a blast. Greg Henry has been in a LOT of productions. While the show was going…I was doing the same as Erica…looking up his IMDb page (179 roles).
We really miss Dominic and his wit. I think him and Gregg would've been hilarious together. You need to have him come back, again.
Connor was great, as usual. Love his desert island questions. He takes THAT very seriously. And he actually listened to the interview. A+ job. Not that he doesn't every time.
Errica and Mark were great, also. Really love the vibe that the show sets. A sit down with a guest that is informative, but also filled with great insights and stories of behind the scenes things…for us geeks of the craft.
BTW, Mark really does know his Star Trek. So good to have him in front of the camera.
Question, is alcohol ONLY there when Dominic is there? Just wondering.
Love the show. Thanks for entertaining our home. See you on the next Shuttlepod Show.
Enjoyable as always. Looking forward to more!
Damn this was good! Always enjoyed hearing the stories of actors
Get well soon Dom. Miss you on the show.
I am finally all caught up, absolutely fantastic and I must admit, I didn't know much about Gregg outside of his Trek roles. This was incredible and it is always a joy to listen to.
Why the extra 'g' in "regardingg" in the video title?
Geez… The guy said "um" over 300 times… And I didn't even start counting till 10 minutes in.
