  1. So many games where you 'win' by playing awful industrial ravager of natural resources, and so little awareness of pollution, destruction through machinating everything, let alone consequences for workers and or citizens. Just win, at the cost of…
We need new ideas, with global awareness and ecological inspiration.

  2. Hi @GamerZakh! Thanks for including World Turtles in your list again 🙂
As a first-time solo developer, just appearing on these lists warms my heart!
I've added a lot of things for the player to actively do lately, so I hope the reviews will stay above 70% and keep increasing.

  3. Hey Zakh, developing and publishing are not the same thing. You keep saying developed by Paradox Interactive, but they are the publisher. They're not spending development resources (which would be done by Paradox Development Studios for their in-house stuff). I don't really see how the troubles with Cities II would impact a game made by completely separate developers for example (unless both are rushed due to publisher pressure, which is always possible of course).

  4. You've earned a subscription and I normally don't subscribe to channels that post these videos but a 3 hour video on all upcoming sims? hell yea dude. Subscribed for the effort.

  5. Wow such a massive list but a great one. Really appreciate you including us with so many fantastic games and loved the talk up. Indie developers, especially right now need influencers help spreading the word so thank you, thank you and THANK YOU. Everyone go pick something on this list and wishlist now your helping keep people employed and letting us take chances on games that would otherwise never get made.

  6. Nice list ! I guess I'm getting old there are only a couple that even raise excitement for me. It could also be that all of these games are too similar and very few actually introduce something new that is not in other games. Most all of these games now are build tier A building, research and unlock Tier b, rinse and repeat. There is no strategy or critical thinking anymore to play these games. I'm not an fan of EA but in 2023 two games I own have stood out as winners. Songs of Syx and Solargene.

  7. Pax Augusta looks very good, rome city building. For anyone interested if you have never played Imperium Romanum, it is a game from 2008 that still looks and plays very good today, in fact I wonder how much different Pax Augusta will turn out and they seem very similar. If you like this genre of games while you wait try Imperium Romanum and even Hegemony 3 games.

  8. Hotel Magnate has huge performance issues and not a very good tutorial. The building menu is also a mess. They need to build a new UI and make the game more easy to work with. It has potential, but I rather say that for a Hotel/Casino manager SimCasino is the game to go to.

  9. Great Video! One thing you forgot to mention. Nivalis is set in the same world an city of Cloudpunk, where you can already free roam in the city in first person, and is a great experience.
I hope that the first person management will work: is a great leap from the original game that was a story rich driving game

  10. Two things.

First: what a video! This series is essential for anyone trying to keep up with new and upcoming releases. You do the work so I don't have to. Lifesaver.

Second: I often think "I should check out some demos" but then never remember which games have demos that you mentioned. I'd love if there was an easy way to note which games have demos when you recorded this. Maybe just a * by the games which have demos. Something like that. For easy searching. Just a thought.

  11. Simulation game = A game that simulates some aspect(s) of the real world (such as building a city etc.) but which would not be transferable to real world applications.
Simulator = Something that simulates one particular thing in great detail (such as commanding a submarine, flying a plane or driving a car) and which could be transferable to real world applications.
At least that's my take on it. I base it on the fact that simulators (as in flight simulators etc.) predate computer/video games and were meant as an analogue which would help the person using it gain skills that would to some extent be transferable to when they had to do it for real.

  12. This was _amazing_. I do feel like a goose ready to be harvested for foie gras — the amount of these games! My gullet can't handle it! — but it was totally worth it. I'm bookmarking this and will be coming back to take notes about titles I will want to keep an eye out for. Thank you so much for all this work, and the excellent summaries and reviews!!!

  13. Did you just take your other lists and combing in to 1 video ? I feel like I've heard you say these exact things about all of these in other videos. Even to the point of them being in the same order… maybe I'm wrong 🤔
Edit: not that there is anything wrong with that ofc 🙂 just wish I had known before I spent 3hours on this 👍

  15. Absolutely Spectacular collection of videos, pretty sure i have wishlisted over 30 games i did not even know existed! Youre a godsend for indie developers, giving them a voice to markets they did not know existed! Thank You

  16. Awesome video. Thanks so much. I really appreciate how thorough you are with every game. I just keep my steam on another tab wishlist so many. You should get royalties for how many I select from your videos. Thanks!

  17. The amount of games being released in this niche genre, which is much more complex to do than many other genres, is frankly overwhelming. They can’t all possibly succeed, so it will be sad to see promising games abandoned.

  18. Sorry, no offence, but: Seriously, is this a joke? Most games you mention here aren't new at all in 2024. Are you boring us to death meanwhilefor clicks. If you do a video about games from 2024 please do that about new ones and not some that exist already very long and got mentioned in other videos you made. I watched now half of this video and there was barely anything new. I will stop watching now and probably not come back to this channel.
