EP 127 Nat to the rescue

Nat to the RESCUE – We stop to help another yacht with a fishing net entangled around its prop and Nat free dives into chilly waters to cut it off at sea.

This week we buddy boat with some friends as we head our way North along the coast of the Aegean Sea towards the Chalkis bridge.

Join us for the adventure.

  1. Good job, Nat and Captain. Strictly speaking where the incident happened is not the Aegean but the Southern Evia Gulf. Probably the strongest tidal currents you will get in Greek waters are in the Southern and Northern Evia gulfs due to the geography of the place. Deep water is still very cold due to unusually cold and long winter. You passed off and far from my place at Porto Rafti bay btw. If I knew I would have taken the rib out to say hello. Are you off to the Sporades islands?

  2. Really cool guys! Made that look easy, But the first time I noticed a hint of concern for Nat,
I would take that as a Compliment Natalie, 😂. First time i seen Ian concerned about anything..

  3. As usual Ian thinking ahead, that's why I feel safe with you both. Also don't worry too much, but must confess when Nelson (auto pilot) was at the helm in the busy shipping channel, bit worrying. Great as usual, well done Natalie (cool stuff)

  4. Also that’s a very wicked trick to throw seizing wire, Cotter pins, nuts etc, onto the deck of a friends boat…..then watch them desperately trying to figure out where it has come from!
I don’t know where you got such an idea? 😂😅
