The Freighters in No Man’s Sky have been totally overhauled with new rooms and upgrades. There are upgrades and new tech for Living Ships. a year back I copied my GOG NMS Saves into my Steam save folder and it worked fine. Been playing same game this whole time.
Hello Games is AMAZING. I remember when NMS launched, and is was fun to play for a little bit but was very disappointing because it did not deliver the vision that was sold to us. Any other developer would have cut their losses and gave up on the game. NOW… NMS is a amazing game to play. Hello Games stuck with it and fixed their failures. GREAT JOB! I know a lot of people that got refunded for the game and never came back but Im glad I kept it. I am impressed by Hello Games just because of their commitment.
The freighter upgrade did mess a few things up but shouldnt be hard to fix. Some things are half in the ceiling and im assuming a few other things are either inside or behind some walls.

It's not Lance Armstrong. It's the Endurance, a Norwegian ship that sank in 1915 and was only rediscovered this year, which ties in with the new expedition.

Not sure what all they did but I am playing it on a base PS4 and it was a slow game for me. But now everything is snappy and a lot quicker and smoother. It’s very cool 😎

I was watching this earlier today, but I've been playing all night. I sent out some expedition missions and got a piece of technology for the exosuit called Dream Aerial. When you make it and keep it in your inventory, it will eventually call a living frigate if you have open spots in your fleet. I think you can make them over and over once you get it as an expedition reward

Hey guys, I opened up my game today, on my freighter, and everything is clipped, I can't move around much, and my base editor is blank when I open it up. So, I'm stuck on my freighter with no way to move out. I had used the save point to save the game, so I'm not by my ship in the hanger. Anyone else have issues?
When you got lost out in space, you maybe could’ve gone on the other side of your freighter and built a door.
Anyone just running into derelict freighters without the critters on them exclusively after this update?

Hi I wanted to ask you for information since I have always followed you and I know that you are a great expert =) Years ago we started playing together my brother and I in a multiplayer game he created the game and I joined .. Then he a stopped playing and i kept changing galaxies explored done missions and stopped building and doing my thing elsewhere ..! Now my question is this has now become this save as if it were my game or, now that he wants to play my brother too, I find myself in his game when he loads ..? With problems for my rescue.? It dropped in Oz fairly quickly am loving the change to space rocks, just restarted my playthrough so haven't seen the changes to fleet etc ❤️ your content cheers 👍
new asteroids are superb, they completely fix what had previously been the crappiest visual element in the game. space is now visually on par with planets.
