It has been yet another week of staggering scenes around SpaceXβs Starship development sites. Weβve had fire with a new twist! The End of an Era as we watch SpaceXβs FINAL Starship Static Fire at Historic Pad (Suborbital Pad B)! There have been so many vehicles rolling and views to show, it was hard to even know where to start. Mixed with the continual action and setbacks to dive into outside Starbase. We had Starliner attempting to fly, SpaceXβs Extravehicular Activity (EVA) Suit, Starlink β Group 6β57, Group 6β56 & Group 8-2, HyImpulse, and Changβe 6 Update! What a week!

i think the mystery ship is going to a stationary orbit for the fuel transfer thing they want to do?
ship 26 looks like something they sell down at the adult book store. I dont know anything about that.
An actual 'staggering scene', Marcus, will be if/when Starship actually gets to take any load at all to LEO. Its not going to the moon successfully, let alone Mars, and I imagine they have spent so much time and money on the clunker they can't really change designs too much now – esp. with a child in the room pretending he knows what he's doing. If SpaceX could somehow get rid of their chief idiot, maybe they could push on. Yeah, I know he started the company, and allowed Mueller to develop some great engines, but his stupidity has cost them further success, which they could expect given the amazing success of Falcon.
No physicists agree but that looks stupid. Starliner is doomed….
Is it possible that ship 26 may be used for a portable fuel station in orbit?
You don't need flaps if that ship was going to be left in space. For instance, moon lander would not need flaps, so maybe it will be used for storage transfer testing.
10:52 That's so cool
RElon Time vs ULA & and blue origin time.
Elon Musk tends to be optimistic about time to when a product becomes available and may be 1 or 2 yeagrs late.
ULA finaly launched in 2024, the delay is 10 lyears so far.
Jeff Bezos blue origin was founded in 2000 it has been 24 years so far no launch.
So so why is no one talking about ULA or Blue origin time and?

Since SpaceX has a contract with Space Force, where will the Space Force's Starship be launched from?
We love you Brother! Great stuff as usual. π
I canβt believe we donβt have a space station orbiting the moon by now conducting research experiments in advance of lunar habitation.
SpaceX should launch a few laser linked Starlink satellites around the moon.
Thanks for another awesome Saturday release.
I think they will be using ship 26 as a test fit article. As you pointed out we may see a firing at Massey's, site to test out the facility. I think it will be kept around until the second launch tower is built. And then It will be used as a test fit for the second tower. But by then it will be obsolete and probably will be scrapped. I doubt it will be launched.π
33 raptor engines = too many moving parts
I love these videos! But the host's voice always seems it's like, .1us out of sync.. or is that just me?
Great segment! β€
Does Mary from NASA Spaceflight work for NASA?
I just bought the Hoverpen Interstellar Edition in Mars Magma. Your fault. Thanks.
it is awesome to see australia now getting into the satellite space race go south australia hope your next rocket is even better
So they say. Why should a rocket that has a 100%success rate suddenly fail, interesting.
Thanks
Wouldn't installing heat tiles on the launch platform, and the quick disconnect arm makes for quicker refurbishment and turn around for launches.
Thank you Dr House.
Loved π₯° the Australian π¦πΊ updates.
We rely on you for all our space goodness π€€ππ
Great coverage
Not getting on a Boeing spacecraft. Lol. Not that anyone would have invited me.
What do you guys notice about the Polaris Dawn capsule picture?! Liberals need to stop pushing Bullshit DEI programs!!!π‘π‘ If it does not stop, Humanity will go back to the stone age! It is what it is. Don't get offended!π’π€·ββ
amazing
I had no idea you were from down here in Hobart. Great job youβre doing.
19:03 $6.6 billion? Holy mackerel! I had read something about this the other day and apparently misread it. I thought the number was $600 million. I thought that was pretty good. $6.6 billion is mind boggling. I guess those early projections of $20 billion per year were not unreasonable.
S26 possible orbital refueling ship ?? no wings so not coming back maybe ?
I just realized while looking at a map how very close Starbase to Mexico is located. How much involvement do Mexican authorities have?
Changing out a valve! Tell ULA I know a decent plumber if they need one!
Comprehensive as always. Well done Marcus and team.
I understand nothing in these videos, yet I still watch them (and enjoy them thoroughly)
I know you need to advertise to fund your channel but wobbly pens don't do it for me.
The youngest historical artefact ever.
Marcus some years ago we saw what I believe is a starlink satellites deployment. It was like looking at a lazar fight in space . Quickly one after the other shot towards something about the same size as the object that ejected them . All up we saw 7 or 8 shots in fast concession. Looked like a fight .π€ππ¦πΊ ps , happened in nsw au . π
For me the SpaceX starship style has gone Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon – "technology" from 1020 and 1936.
I do not see that will get anywhere anytime. Elon Musk is great at marketing, has won a cult of unquestioning followers – most of his stuff are amazing announcements, all it 10 times better while being 10 times cheaper and 10 coming times earlier – and then it turns out it is all fairly conventional (or nothing at all beyond flashy CAD designs like Hyperloop). His Boring Company that was SOOOOO good, so much better – turned out it had no tunnel boring device or concept at all, had to BUY a conventional tunnel boring machine, and surprise, surprise, is just as slow, just as expensive as any conventional boring company.
Starship is in principle a concept copy of the russian concept – have one single standard engine and have more thrust by more engine. Starship Heavy is just a rehash of the russian N-1, that failed miserably in the 1960s. The have even almost the same number of engines in the first stage (30 to 33).
So many engines are simply problematic.
Would they mean it earnest with flying to Mars, the must important crew member they would have to recruit is an absolute crack doctor and surgeon. For any space flight up to now medical assistance was at most a few days away. For a Mars mission it is many months to years. Once on the way, to return they MUST go to Mars to be able to use its gravity to reverse direction.
So an operating table would be mandatory.
Holy shit you live in Tassie too! Represent, brother!
That is the second time I have seen the pearlite removal, and I realised that in the quantities they are removing it they should be masked, as it can cause serious respiratory problems. This is a known fact to the majority of gardeners, although handling only small quantities will avoid the prodigious amount of micro dust particles that always get airborne when using it. Also, it looked like one of the men was clearly hurt by the volume and weight of material. Someone appears to not know what exactly they are doing, this is a very serious thing in the type of work environment.
I am surprised the site management would overlook such a thing, and that needs to be addressed
I just noticed you haven't changed the twitter blue bird with the X logo in the bottom left yet (0:37)
Remember when everyone was wondering whether Starliner or Crew Dragon would have the first crewed space flight?
