It is most likely a combination of bad optimization and that insane draw distance and the lack of lowering it in the settings

Most PC's will probably be able to run it with lower settings. These specs are usually just for 1080p, med settings, 60fps. I usually play my games at 900×1600 lowest settings just cause i hate my pc getting loud. Im not gonna be surprised if this pushes my pc to the edge even on low settings though. Probably will be in the 70°c range the whole time playing Elden Ring. Ryzen 5 1600af, Rx580, 16gb ram.
I hope some mod is released to put a fog or lower draw distance so it can improve performance, I will definitely get the game but if I can't run it it will be very disappointing, I hope I can return it.

this are the offical spec but in 6moth they changed a lot and and look like the end product didnt get optimized becuse preview spec werent that high
just saying if u are going to buy new cpu in the next future you probably are going to be forced to buy ddr5 and those are higly way more expensive then ddr4 with no much difference in perfomace for now.
