Where can i get a better weapon? Levelled up to 14 and got the longsword but im only doing 90 damage per hit, he has so much health compared to what damage i can do…
These guides make me feel like a moron. When he does A then do B? What? All the moves look the same? I've beaten every souls game but only because I farm souls and get strong enough lol I cannot figure out patterns.
Personally I don't like this boss, forces a quick weapon to be used to hit during phase 2 safely, and pretty much the only real tactic is just to sit as far away as possible and wait
Fuck his unblockable hammer
I’ve never had much of a problem with soulslike games before (meaning I’m ok with getting my ass kicked to learn how a boss works and not blaming bs), but this fight feels like half the battle is literally RNG
This boss felt completely unfair to me, as he’d bust out like 5:7 strike combos then recovers all most instantly and dashes back away from me. Eventually I beat him by just playing extremely passive and just running around the arena and just waiting which I found extremely boring, when ever I tried engaging close and not even being greedy(going for only one hit) he’d have these moves that quite literally can’t not be dodge completely without taking damage. Maybe it’s because my starting class is prisoner and I was about SL17 because I don’t know what souls level I should be at for the fight. If there is a strategy out there instead of just wait and bait then I’d really like to know it
I ve beaten all dark souls games but this fight feels super rng and i just got tired of it keep your heads up and grind through it
Omg you do sooo much more damage to him. I picked the first knight class
What those icon under the stamina bar?
stupid video, my margit does way more different moves
Do spirit summons give bosses extra health? I know coop summons do, but do spirits?
That boss is no fun
worst fight in all souls games.
this has helped me so much, your so underrated!
this might be the best one i saw.
He is so passive against you. Once he takes the hammer out, he does like an infinite combo with uber range, cannot really scape, no iframes, no nothing. If he knocks you down once, you're basically dead.
Too much running away. I wanted to see someone who can stick on him like glue and do no hit.
I've been trying to kill him for 2 hrs now but I even tried parrying him but watching you what you did differently was keep a little distance, patience, and choose hits wisely
You got really lucky, he might have done the attack he does at 3:33 while you are close to him and that almost 100% death. Because the the window between the first and the second hit is too close to dodge.
Actually, that's the only attack I couldn't punish. I reached the point I could get him to the second phase without getting hit and punishing every attack, same goes for the second one, except for that spinning attack.
You know maybe playing directly in his face isn’t the right way to do it lol. Felt like I was dodging soo many attacks, but the patience with the punishes makes way more sense.
Thank you for going over the actual move set unlike most guides which at this point are all cheese methods.
I realize now my problem was I got too close to him. I will try again with new strategies after I eat. thanks for the vid.
You should have metioned, always row to the left side, (except the big charge double swing). Cos if u row to the right, he fuck you up real hard
This is a really good boss. I just wish I was better at parrying because I lost on a handful of atempts parrying 0.3 seconds too early.
That chain swing combo gets me every time..
Where is this located
The fight with him is nothing compared with yours. After he get the hammer when he jumps immediately he follow with a hit and a sword too he Nevers backs up like it did to you……
So he doesn't attack you…
You should make some more of these no lie
I am the astrologer and found it ok. Kept my distance and bombarded him with magic, Rogier and the wolves. By ok I mean I only died 20-25 times 😂
mclovin?
