Update: I had already defeated the boss and got the Bloodhound's Fang so going back to snap my finger does nothing 🙁
There's an ash of war called Determination. You can equip a staff in your offhand and any weapon in main hand with Determination ash. The buff only instantly expires if you hit with your main hand weapon. However, if you cast spells with your offhand staff, the buff will last it's entire duration. Its probably the most powerful ash in game if you can abuse it (around 60% dmg increase to your attacks).
I started as a maige and feel a litle bored after the first bos do you guys think its stil poossible to like switch ore make a hybrid build ? And what would be the hybrid i should go for ?
i've been using the curved sword powerstanced with another blade i dont wanna spoil and i'm absolutely demolishing the whole game, feels like i'm cheating with the jump attacks + the jump attack talisman, every mob and boss just get stunned and take insane dmg from the double sword slam
sword of night and flame…..yeah, I respec my character right away for this weapon. and yeah, totally worth doing. it is amazing.
The sword of night and flame is so fun, I was going quality faith but I had to get the intellect for it. I still want to do more faith in the end but this is a great sword for a non strength paladin.
There is also another very cool sword you can pick up in a chest carried by those vagon-trolls if you walk down the hill from the Four Bellfries towards Caria Manor. It scales with intelligence and has a very cool animation where it basically summones a gigantic magic sword and slams it to the ground. (Has 3 different buildups you can choose when to slam it). Its called Carian Knights Sword, worth a mention. Anyways awesome vid, thanks!
You can just fight the boss for the bloodhound fang and still get the weapon
Ofc you tell noobs how to get op and of course the noobs cant find stuff for themselves
all i find are int weapons. Anyone know where are Strength swords are in mid-late game? currently just dual weilding the bloodhound fang and an +15 omen cleaver but i was really hoping I would find some cool greatswords to dual wield. I put a few points into int to try out spell casting and I don't think I really like that playstyle but with all the int weapons its very tempting…
It’s relieving to see some solid int/str weapons…I chose astrologer because the magic looked to good to pass up this time but in every previous souls game I went with str and I started to regret picking magic. At least I can rest easy knowing there are still some big ass swords to get that are good for int.
There are too much Int Weapon.
You don't have to do anything with a finger snap, that's a total made up lie.
I've been using Eleanores twinblade and it seems to stun enemies alot aswell as deal bleed damage
wish they'd make a game like this but not a souls game where it was all open world and you didn't lose all your shit on one death ☠ an they add dungeons and big co op play would be mint

Anyone having problem to upgrade the flasks ? I’ve gotten 2 sacred tear and they disappeared from my inventory, I went to the grace to upgrade it and it wasn’t there, anyone knows how to fix it ?
Need recommendation for me hybrid Dex int prisoner character
A Paladin would be FTH/STR, not INT/STR, which is what the Troll Knight's Sword uses. There are also multiple locations with the Troll Knights that drop the sword too.
So iv gone in blind and all this stuff seems very easy to miss cause I don't even really know what my main mission is and I just killed the guy at stormveil castle mieke or what ever his name is and some tree underneath a huge tree and some big horse people
All with a sword from one of those grunts
