The Tonga volcano eruption was massive last spring. News at the time warned that the ash cloud would decimate crop production in W Australia and the southern hemisphere in general. Then, no information about it. Maybe David Dubyne covered it. Not trusting any the stats put out 'officially'.

Jack Ryan is a great series, high production values too, feels more like a movie.
And the plot of season 3 is very interesting, considering what is going on at the moment….
I enjoy the Jack Ryan character…Tom Clancy for that matter.
