Announced just hours ago at Gen Con, Dune Imperium Bloodlines is a brand new expansion aimed at both Imperium and Uprising! Scheduled for a 2025 release, this seems to bring some new complexity to the game but a lot of very cool mechanics and content as well. Shadow takes you through the first look at what to expect!

can't wait!!!
My favorite board game gets even better! Now please update Dune Imperium Digital for Ix Direwolf 😊
Seems general consensus is that Uprising is a better designed game but I love the expansions for original and cannot wait for an expansion for Uprising. Thanks for covering the announcement Black Shadow!
Still haven't played Immortality, and maybe only a dozen plays so far, but this will be fun.
Yeah looks cool, hoping for an early 2025 release
Yeah in the Kanly, you had a "leader pawn" that you could send into combat, but when you did, your leader ability was offline. 🙂
who dont like big shiny balls 🙂
Appreciate you covering this; you two definitely called it!
It's funny that in my country there is delay in publishing that we've gotten the Uprising just a few days ago and now Dire Wolf announces next expansion xD
Still happy to see it 😀
Power level of these leaders seems ridiculously high
I'm really excited about the changes with Tech Tiles. Even though I loved how Tech Tiles worked once you had them, I never cared for the mechanisms around how Tech were costed and acquired in IX. You almost never paid the price actually listed on Tech, but the discounts were tied to specific board spaces rather than a game system response to how players how players perceived the value of the Tech at the time. Some games will put a resource on unbought tiles at the end of round, discounting/rebating the cost to a point to make them more appealing. Other games will have a market slot price (or maybe a market slot price plus a base price on the tile), so as a tile slides down slots in the market, it gets cheaper Dutch auction style. You might overpay for a tile as soon as it comes into the market or wait for what feels like an appropriate price. This doesn't look to do anything along those lines, but attaching the buy option to a number of different spaces and simplifying the discounts should help.
At first I didnt want it, because I got uprising and played it once then realised I am played out on Dune Imperium. BUT THEN I SAW DUNCAN IDAHO AND CHANI as well as new Miniatures and my FOMO started itching.
I love big shiny balls as well.
Thank you for the update! Been looking at Dune Imperium as my forever board game. Recently Got hooked into the whole movie series, now reading the books. Just gotta get the board game now! I am committed!
so hyped!🎉
anyone reckon new 6p leaders are possible? Seams unlikely
I really hope that you need two influence on the Emperor track to get the Sardaukar tokens to match the Sandworms and also to boost the Emperor track which is normally the least contested.
