  1. I recently bought a young monstera and I see that the pot has enough plants. If I understood correctly in the video it says that it is better for each pot to contain a plant in it for better growth? Thank you very much!

  2. Your voice sounds deeper here are you well?

All good points here per usual.

But the part that demands the most world-wide attention is, why can't somebody make inner pots with drainage holes, that fit perfectly inside outer decorative pots with no holes, that you want solid, where you don't have to drill holes and deal with unsightly shallow watering trays underneath?

  3. Sitting here watching this video while staring at my monstera cutting that I had to chop completely off again because of yellowing leaves- but it's sprouting 4 new stems?! Do I have some plant magic going on I didn't know about??

  4. Great video! I have some type of philodendron of a similar size as your Monstera but I don't have the space to only show its 'pretty side'. I'm glad you addressed the drainage holes situation – 9:32 – as I didn't see a drip tray for your plant. Kudos on your 10-year plant dad journey. I'm currently at 12 years with my plant parenting!

  5. I got my first Monstera a couple of months ago, with your previous tips of not doing much with it, keeping clean and the right position it pushed out a new leaf from its largest growth.

The leaf was huge and holey. I'm really happy with it.

  6. My monstera keeps growing new leaves but then they turn yellow and die. Also the tips get crinkly and gray. I really want to help it but don't know what to do. Not all leaves are affected so I've been just cutting the leaves that are (hopefully this is not a bad thing to do) and hoping for the best

  7. The image of you hugging the Monstera was hilarious. That's how I felt when I started buying them. My monstera in lechuza pon, I damaged part of the stem by accident so I am glad that it is growing and thriving.

  8. When I cut my Monstera Albo the next leaf turned out to be a lot bigger than the previous leaves. I think that If you give your plant a lot of light it will usually size up.
