  1. The combat alone looks better than star wars outlaws & ac shadows and any final fantasy title. Combined with the visuals, they might have a gem in there.

  2. My #1 question was whether or not we would be transferring our world state from Dragon Age Keep. I am really disappointed that we aren't. I thought the whole point of Dragon Age Keep was so that we could keep our choices attached to our EA accounts and then transfer them into any future games, essentially making it future-proof unless the internet stops working.

  3. Thank god for Greg, Mike and Andy for saving the day after roger and bless killed the buzz with an hour of call of duty talk during a dragon age headlined games daily. 😂

  4. Thank you, Andy. I definitely have the same experience as you. Even playing DA on PC I'm not switching between all of the characters. I'm just setting them what to do and then I don't worry about it and go off and do my own thing.

  5. I get Andy and many others don't play that way, but why should we encourage missing features that other players liked and enjoyed? I don't get why, even if you don't partake in said feature we would be happy or positive towards this. It's really just a bummer that we can't have the level on control we have had before with our party in Dragon Age.

I don't get why "Bioware is back" when things are missing. but maybe it's just me out of touch. I hope it's awesome for everyone that decides to pick it up.

  6. Andy said that you talk to a bunch of NPCs in the game Replaced… it isn't voice acted is it? I feel like it would have text bubbles coming from each person since it is pixel art

  7. I thought the gameplay seemed fun. Couple of nitpicks – the whole oh they put a barrier, and then you break it in one hit, felt silly. Then the boss fight felt long, with three separate health bars to get through. Positives for me were the character models, specifically their hair, when they moved it seemed to move in a lifelike manner, which was nice to see.
Now I never finished inquisition, honestly got bored of the gameplay, and lost interest in the story and characters. In light of that, I’m looking at this with measured interest. However what i am seeing is mostly positive.

    Square, triangle.
    Square, square, triangle.

Ooo, bayonetta and ninja gaiden vibes. From what I read at ign, it sounds more like nioh with the cancels to recharge your stamina. I am sold.

That last game mike was talking about that looked like ratchet and clank. What was the name of that? I don't recall seeing the name pop up. Definitely interested in that one for my niece and nephew.

Hyper light breaker is now on my radar.

  9. I am so ready for Akimbot. I'm shocked more Ratchet-likes aren't a thing. The trailers make the writing seem a bit iffy but the movement, gunplay, and art direction look spot on

  10. Don’t agree with Andy that the combat looks like the old games. Dragon Age 1 and 2 played like CRPG’s on PC. This looks nothing like them. It looks like they have really dumbed down the combat, even from Inquisition (which was already dumbed down).

  11. Just so everyone is aware, there was a super tactical top-down camera way to play origins all the way back. The issue came up ages ago with DA2 dropping most of that option. So anyone complaining about that now is a little late. Especially since Inquisition brought back a lot of those features

  12. On the subject of DA, let's be real. It hasn't been as tactical as it was in Origins, ever. It's been dumbed down, and more actiony since 2. Why anyone is surprised it's even moreso with Veil Guard is beyond me.

And the Blumhouse Games stuff looks great.
