  1. I’m just over 3 months in with almost 1800 deliveries. My lowest acceptance has been 68% – it drops SO FAST and takes FOREVER to raise back up- frustrating. I knew there was something going on with the environment and u guys have helped me make sense with this “new dasher” campaign! I have had to put in so so many more hours to make the same amount of money and have seen so few “high pay” orders- even when I had 86% acceptance rate. I even told support that it mathematically doesn’t make sense. But I think JP is right that they could easily single out Anyone since they obviously are doing it with new drivers and sending all the good orders to them lately.

  2. I know the areas of East Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, Mayfield Heights, Euclid, Chesterland, Mentor, Richmond Heights, Mayfield Village, Chardon, etc. Why start in Cleveland Heights or somewhere near East Cleveland? There are many suburbs close by that you can dash in. Turn on the app after you get further away. I don't get how the app is forcing you to end up in East Cleveland. For instance, Mentor should be good.

  3. I've been doing DD for 5 years now. You just have to stay on top of the algorithm & live within your means. If you have a family to support or massive debt, then this type of work may not be for you. But if you're single with little to no debt, you can def do gig work full time long-term. The best strategy you can have doing multiple apps is having more than one car and staying on top of the car maintenance. Taxes shouldn't run you more than 3 grand for the year after all the mileage deductions. If you can maintain multiple vehicles & remain debt free, there is no reason why you can't do gig work long term. If you're deciding on having a family (specifically in America) and solely supporting them off gig work you might run into some issues if you live beyond your means but responsible single folks can def do gig work long-term imo.

  4. I'm a very new Dasher, so maybe my opinion doesn't hold much value, BUT:

If DD was feeding drivers good orders because of digital content in their favor, everyone would turn into influencers super fast 😂

Three accounts I follow, including Pedro's, have all straight up took the position of acceptance ratings not mattering… (something DD actively promotes as an incentive to be in Top Dasher programs), and here they all are still managing to make a living without their accounts being deactivated nor a has there been a documented threat to do so.

I'm all for calling out corporations for mistreating those that make their company thrive, but c'mon…. Judge had a few gavel hits too many to the head for me to take anything he said seriously at a certain point.

His own personal background does not make him an "expert" on catching bad business practices. ANYONE with general working history and experience with the company directly can spot and document problems.

We can theorize all we want but we'll never know a company's true intentions

  5. You know as somebody that has driven to st. Louis to work the hours that you work Pedro I am a hundred percent agree with judge I believe he's onto something with the fact that they're feeding you better orders because you're showing it in real time and you know that doordash knows that. I have come to st. Louis I have gas all day in St Louis Clayton downtown u-city Chesterfield Melville eureka Cuba Missouri Washington Missouri Union Missouri Springfield Missouri and I have not broke $200 and a day and I have put the hours in to be able to. I'm Terry picked I have taken everything until I learned from your channel not to take no tip orders. I just agree with judge. I've been a top Dasher all months except for one since November I just started on Halloween 2022. Not necessarily on the l o p because a lot of people don't have that in there like mine we don't have it. You're being relatable to all of us on The daily that don't have a lop. In the whole conspiracy of them having a back room seriously doordash makes oodles and funny so yeah they could actually have a team feeding all these YouTube channel people better orders it makes them look good overall

  6. There will never be a strike that's worthwhile until a union is formed. 1/3 of the drivers will strike and the other 2/3 will say they are going to strike and then just get in their car and drive. The lure of money is irresistible to most people. The apps know this, their whole algorithms are based on it

  7. I'm grateful for DoorDash. Yes they do sus things but been doing this for 5 years and It pays everything as long you know your market and adapt. I'm a single Father I only work 4 days since 3 days I take care of my Baby girl. Yes it is hard I'm not saying is perfect. But at least I have a roof. I tried to work a W-2 and I couldn't because the paid was ridiculous low $11 per hours and it takes close to $200 per check on tax. When I did the math I was ending a day of 10hr of work for $97 and that's with tax deducted included and that amount of time I can definitely get minimum in a slow day $120+ in Door Dash working 10hrs. That's minimum in a very slow day. Plus waiting every 2 weeks to get paid it effects my time to pay bills. Now there's a lot of Job "Hiring" and you applied and it seems they looks for a specific physical type of individuals to hired. So I don't bother since this type of Work helps me to work extra hard take a vacation when my parents come to Visit me here to FL from Puerto Rico. At least i don't have to ask for permission for vacation or in sick days I just take them.. it is not for everyone to work this as Full Time like I do but if you are good with numbers and you know your market you can make it you just have to be consistent and plan your Schedule as a W-2 and Only work extra time if you don't reach your average daily Monetary goals.

  8. If I'm in a situation with long wait, I make a decision based on offer amount. If it's low amount I will unassign. But, if I know the offer was good (and usually hidden tips on good offers) then I will text the customer and say I'm waiting and I'll be there as fast as I can once the food ready. Example, today I was offered $12 and ended up with $20 on delivery. We are in control of the situation. If we make a mistake, suck it up and learn for next time.

  9. Not gonna lie being a delivery driver has a lot of pressure. Most of them don't know how to handle it. It's a misconsiption of being a delivery driver. Everyone think we make mad cash like that when we in reality we do not make that kind of cash. We are like waitress on wheels. Most people don't realize that we live off of tips .

  10. They’re making changes to those who say “I didn’t get my order”.. they now have the customer sign for the order. I’m not taking $3.50 to go 7.9 miles🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️.. that’s insane. Customers give more than DD🙋🏾‍♀️ it is what it is.
