The Hogner legal case says that the McGirt decision applies to the Cherokee Nation, in that the State of Oklahoma has no law enforcement jurisdiction on the Cherokee Reservation. I live on tribal land; they can come and arrest me for farting if they made a law against doing so; they may demand that visitors carry passports onto tribal land if they want to; they can deny someone the right to visit tribal land if they want to. THIS IS ESTABLISHED LAW. High school kids learn this in public schools here in New Mexico where I live.
