  1. The ground vine melons (pumpkins and watermelons) can send out up to 4 offshoots in a plus pattern, with the original planted seed in the center. Only the original plant needs to be on a tilled square and kept watered. Once you see where the possible offshoots will be, it’s safe to fill in to unused tiles with other plants. As a bonus, any melons that are visibly forming when a season ends will finish maturing, even if they don’t grow in that new season. Just have to be patient and not chop down the plant.

Kegs can be used indoors, but some stuff that can go in it needs a intermediate step first using the Billy Can (there’s a license for that) . Jelly brew gives a short farming buff, so it’s good to use before you harvest crops to help level up farming.

  2. The windmill is good for 12 in every direction to help speed up production… best situation to maximize is to set it up in center and load the machines in lines as many as you want within that area all around it. The beehouses are a passive toy that gives you honey every couple of days (you will see it expanding) and the brewing typically takes a couple of days also and will pop out its product for you to pick up. Yippee for presents! There will be other passive toys that can be earned or purchased as you go along that will give you things as well.
