Welcome back Guardians, after finishing my Veil video, I moved onto the next “I don’t understand what happened in Lightfall topic ”, the CloudArk . There are plenty of aspects of the CloudArk which are still unknown; however, unlike the Veil, we do get a bunch of lore about it in the Lightfall lore books. So, if you have ever looked at the virtual citizens of Neomuna and wondered , what is the CloudArk? How can we see them if they are in a virtual environment? Is it reversible? Can they come out of the CloudArk? When did they go into the CloudArk?

The cloudark makes even less sense given the information
The Neomuni can't have been all living permenantly in the CloudArk for that long, because if they have, what's the point of the entire city? A huge, empty city nobody needs and nobody's using, but still defended and maintained? Why? If they all live in the CloudArk, Neomuna should be nothing but the Veil compound itself and a ton of rows of cryopods with the sleeping citizens in them stored in underground bunkers.
Since it isn't, them all going permenantly into the CloudArk must be a recent thing, in response to the Pyramid fleet's arrival.
But I still don't get why one of the first Neomuna Civil News broadcasts we get is the dude saying 'all Neomuni are activated to civilian defense status' or whatever. If they're all in the CloudArk, what are they going to do to defend the city? Unless they can control turrets and drones from in there, which is a cool idea but not something we see any evidence of.

Why didn't we get to meet some anti cloud ark rebels?? That sounds like it would be so interesting. You could hear them explain why the cloud ark is bad. Provide a contrast to the super upbeat, naive Nimbus – a grizzled, cynical scientist who knows there are enormous drawbacks to using the cloud ark and is struggling with their morality. Could have been cool

cloud ark seems like a developer excuse to not code and put citizens out and about being attacked by the invaders to be honest. Its disappointing to continue to see destiny shy away from putting non enemy npcs out in the combat space

We keep thinking about years on Neptune as years on earth but 1 year on Neptune is almost 165 years on earth. Does that play into any of this? How old are cloud striders really? Or how long have they really been in the cloud arc? Because if we say they have been there for 10 earth years it hasn’t even been a year for them yet.
