What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. you can set the highlight to always be there without the z in the option menu. also when exploring when I find a water area I set up an FOB with two solar panels, a battery, well and a survival capsule. The one solar panel going to the battery then battery to the capsule and the other panel I use to charge myself and the ATV

  2. In the game menu, go to interface, and there is a toggle option for the Z scan to turn it always on, button press on like you have now, or off. Helps when exploring a new poi to just turn it always on.

  3. Wait till you can make a greenhouse, that has spots for huge incubators and a pair of hyroponic shelfs that each have 2x as much space as the one you have now. There is also a field that I haven't used yet…and composter, and spot for the seed machine, as well as a food processor I think it was, good way to free up the workshop for other things.

EDIT – The extra potatoes and plants even are good to hold onto to toss into the composter later.

  4. And when you get the chance – Build a Bathroom — Filling water is so freaking EASY! — go to the sink, turn it on, fill your water and its all set! its a good practice to get your water filled up just before bed,

  5. Get that grinder upgraded and then take an in game day once in a while and GRIND, GRIND, GRIND. There is no harm in building inventory. It will change the game! Going out to find items only when you need them makes for a slower progression. Grind all those bases until they are gone.

  6. I Just passed in the video where you were talking about the ATV build but you mentioned a blueprint however it is not a blueprint you need to unlock. it is the small accumilator upgrade under the Electricity tab

  7. If you right click on the map you can name, track and use icons on places you have been or want to go.

Once I loot a place I mark it as visited. You can make is as long as short as you want.

  8. Great stuff again. The land surface around you is fairly flat – maybe all starter areas are – but wait til you go further afield and try and get your ATV up and down cliffs and craters! Good fun though. An early bit of info for you is that if your vehicle does get stuck, either the ATV of the rover, press “R” and will place you in your vehicle back about 50 yards from where you got stuck. Very nice of them! I got totally stuck in a crevasse, miles away from home, cried for 10 minutes then went on line and found the answer!

  9. Hey Kage doin great man….in future and under NO weather threats….Take your Helmet OOFF when sleeping !!!…….make Absolutely Sure that you are carrying repair kits when traveling in Case you Crash so you Can FIX your Helmet !!!!….the blueprints for the ROVER was last found at a base to the West, in a very Damaged base…..and it's FAR away, in fact the person who found it had to survive the Night temperatures and low batteries…..but it's out there, IF you'd like the Exact Location, reply and I'll do my Best.

  10. You can Target things on your map that you can see when you're not in your map stuff does respond in the buildings I'm not sure if it's after a log or if it's after you're out of the area but I haven't seen it happen multiple times

  11. Kage! Slow down! You miss things because you have no patience! Exploring is a process, not a race, Buddy!

You are by far the best gaming YouTuber to watch! You have real personality and we don't have to sludge through a thick accent.

But sometimes you drive me nuts with your impatience!

(And now we know why you like cats so much. You share their attention span!😮)

    Game on, Brother!

  12. The soldering mini game isn’t that difficult I promise. It tells you what components need replaced and where they are on the board. W and D to rotate the board A and S zooms in if I remember, maybe the scroll wheel, and Q to flip it over. Pick up the hot air tool and it will show you the points you need to touch to disconnect the broken piece. Then pick out the replacement component out of the case on the desk and put it back on the board. Then pick up the soldering tool and it will show you the points you need to touch again.

As far as exploring, once you have the survival capsule unlocked, stockpile food and you’re pretty well set to go. Carry parts to make the capsule, a solar panel or two, and a well. When you get to a poi setup a well on the nearest water spot then a solar panel and the capsule. Plug in your quad to charge, loot and grind. If you need water go run to the well and fill up. If you need oxygen plug in the capsule and refill your oxygen. If it’s getting late and cold get in the capsule and sleep warm and safe till morning. When you’re ready to move on, use the map to mark your next location, break it all down, and follow the marker to your next stop. You can stay out as long as you have food, which you’ll likely pick up plenty more while out. Player constructed buildings are always green on the map, or do what I do and make one map marker your permanent base marker so you always know which way to get home.

Hope this helps. Been a big fan for years now, keep up the great content!!
