Shades are silly. They are hard to kill and their loot table is non existent.
I notice a lot of the “finally cheesing less” comments lately and I’m like… feel free to go make content where you use a basic iron sword and leather armor then. I can just imagine comments about using attack patterns being cheese now.
Skeleton lord is going to be a challenge for chosen. I’m looking forward to seeing how he handles it.

I like how you fight a boss like a real fight . With skill and not focuse to armor . Cause most of them just tank the boss and spam Arrow
Going on about diamond armor… some of the Apotheosis armor, even though it may be iron or chain mail, can be MUCH better than vanilla armor. In Apotheosis modpacks, its not the material of the armor, but the prefixes and suffixes that can make the armor super strong. So, if you get a new piece of armor, dont automatically dismiss it because its iron, chain mail or even leather, but actually look at the bonuses it may have….

Best do quest from the villager guards since they give other better fight skills such guard which helps you parry attacks and another is a passive zo whenever you are being attacked you are blcoking it but you can inly achieve it once you get the guard skill
Don't go back to that pillar in the ocean it sucks
If you've still got some big builds left in this pack series, how about an Adventurer's Lodge? Gigantic roaring fireplace, some plush comfy chairs, some sort of animal rug with the head still on the pelt, a library full of stories of epic adventures (not necessarily your own, this could be a nice patron shoutout thing)/detailed accountings of various quarry/etc, maybe a training area with dummies/targets/an occasional beast, a stately map room with displays for the boss maps (can you get more eyes from successive bosses?), and so on.

Chosen, some weapons (maybe all) can block attacks like a shield. I am not sure whether it is a skill you should unlock or not.
Even in a boss fight you can block some attacks you weren't expecting to be 'blockable'. Anyway, fighting mechanics are quite interesting and balanced. Devs were definitely expecting people not to cheese bosses
