This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Liverpool after the UK was chosen to host the competition on behalf of war-torn Ukraine, which won the 2022 contest.

  1. I empathize with the Ukrainians but why is their suffering worse than any other war zone . You hear or see nothing of Eritrea, Ethiopia or the Sudan ,and these people have no special routes..its shamful

  2. War is not something to celebrate. That people do is exactly why evil people can get their people to fight in wars that do nothing but take human lives and destroy.
    Sorry. I have now lived through way too many wars and idiotically supported way to many of them. But for the Grace of God, I would have lost my son to the Iraq War II that, now, I can't even figure out why we went there, or to Afghanistan, for that matter. Be careful, folks. Wars are rarely what they seem and even more rarely what you are told and believe they are for.
