The CVJ Assassin is the sequel to the companies Konoka gaming headset , that uses a Vibration driver to add to the gaming experience!
Much like the Konoka, in the Assassin we have a DD and BA that reproduce the frequency range , aided by switches, which allow the BA and Vibration driver to be turned on /off, and a much revised tuning of the mentioned DD and BA
What this means is that we are able to use the Assassin for proper music duties , something that was very much left to be desired on the Konoka.
As a gaming headset the experience is a huge improvement over the Konoka, primarily down to the fact the all metal shell now gives us the necessary density to better convey the haptic capabilities of the Assassin.
Unquestionably the Assassin is a step in the right direction with this novel technology, that I believe promises further improvements.

I own both Konoka and TRN Mars, and tbh they are mostly not for music 😂
The vibration seems like such a gimmick. I imagine for…. Immersive solo gaming, it could be interesting. For anything competitive I worry it would just be a distraction.
I must be one of those who really like Konoka (maybe because I insert it deeper into my ears so once a good seal is achieved the bass is quite ok and treble not so hot), in fact I quite like all their recent releases. Interesting that CVJ can improve the sound by so much just through minor tweaking . Look forward to their future offerings.
