Maybe the lockdown has s a certain threshold? anything above X decibels triggers it… s'all I got in plausability.
More interestingly why didn't Sarah and Isaac disable it? or did they enable it? they were for sure living on the back side of it. It makes most sense that Skippy McFuckwit (the leader of the exodus, i forget his name) activated it as security against those who rebeled, but that means Sarah and Isaac had to navigate it aswell and were ok with living trapped by it… weird choices there…

two big turnoffs for me with a game, Either have the Political or Ideologic message hidden within. Or have the Jesus ending, where the player must sacrifice themselves for the sake of humanity.
