  1. At age 13, my cousin wanted to walk to local comic bookstore. Over 3 miles away, 90-degree northern Indiana heat, only farmland and country roads. Upon entering the store, that I never been in yet, he spotted a box of these Revised starters. Listening to him and the owner talk, I dared him to buy a deck with me and learn to play. My addiction started then!!! The very next set released was Fallen Empires. We both bailed hay and milked cows to afford a booster box each. Our decks were made of only the land from Revised and a small handful of Fallen lands. Our decks, both of us had every card we owned in our deck!!! There were days our games would last an hour before we saw any land in our hands!! Thank you BIG BOX DAVE and Thank you MOSS BOSS for this flashback memory. Playing Magic in the chicken coop, listening to Faith No More; Epic album, and Doggy Style!! I am spending the rest of my evening watching more Bad Boy vids and looking through my cards!! Thank both of you gentlemen, I know my night is not the only one you impacted today!!

  2. @MTG Attitude such a cool and generous guy!💯👍!
@BadBoyGaming although the tension was already gone at the start of unpacking the starting deck🙂, from that moment on it started to get really funny how after each common card you excitedly was wondering which rare cards would be in the pack😂…thanks for the entertaining video👍love it!

  3. I bought two mostly opened Revised Booster Boxes from a friend back in 1995, for $200 I think. He was disappointed in finding "only" four dual lands, none of which were Volcanic Island. I found two more in the remaining packs, and traded them off for a set of four Badlands and a set of four Scrublands. I think dual islands were selling for something like $20 each back then…

Aside from the dual lands, I remember being pretty underwhelmed with Revised, which came out before my time. The white borders and prevalence of basic lands in the booster packs made the commons seem bland and generic. My friend included some black-border cards from The Dark and Fallen Empires to spice it up, and I liked those much better. Cards like Nightmare, Force of Nature, Sol'kanar, Su-Chi, and Colossus of Sardia were what sparked my interest in MtG. Then Chronicles came out, reprinting the multi-colored legends, and I was hooked.

  5. So between your hilarious electric videos and Rudy's. Along with finally coming back to MTG since Urza's block. I dropped a fat bag ($12k) last night on collector's cases. Two of each: Kamigawa, Brother's War, Dominaria Remastered, (one) Modern Horizons 2 (This is from watching your last video cracking them.),the Warhammer Collectors Deck Set, and some bigger hit cards. Cracking packs with your videos going is a good time. Sorry about this deck box though.

  6. You are an absolute tool.
0:30 – "we're going to open it for the experience."
0:40 – Then you speak about getting hosed.
0:55 – Then you speak about the prices of what you can pull

You don't care about the game, just money which was clear in your magic 30 video.
