For a fun Summer project, I turned this old, broken, rusty arcade racing cockpit into a DIY sim racing rig. This turned out to be a quite expansive project in which I got the pleasure of using most of the machines in my workshop: fiber laser cutter, fiber laser engraver, CO2 laser, CNC lathe, CNC mill, 3D printer, metal brake, welder, and probably most importantly, the angle grinder with a wire brush attachment! So if you have a half hour to burn, follow along as I take you through the journey of this project.

Another amazing project Travis!!! 👍Regards Andrzej M
I was wondering if is safe to put a 1kw servo motor attached to a wheel and make no safety device between them .
If there is an error , and servo begins to spin , i don't think u would want to have an 3000+ rpm hand on that wheel .
Cool project. Possible future upgrade – delete the monitor and add a VR headset. Thanks for the videos. Stay safe out there.
Pretty frigin incredible project. Too awesome.
Are you still using the ultra pure nitrogen? If so, has it lasted you a while?
I thought for sure you were gonna bust out the fiber laser for the rust removal and welding.
This is awesome man !! Great job on the project 👍
Really really sad to see solid cat5 wire used for anything but Ethernet. Your time is valuable. 🤮
Is there a specific reason you use a hacksaw to cut your stock instead of a bandsaw?
that came out better then i was going to do to it glad u got it looks amazing glad i got to see it finished didnt know it was that rough tho
