I'm surprised they didn't "tone her down" for the modern audience
I'm going to be very sad if the physical copy of this game is made by Limited Run Games. I'm a little worried they're going to be in charge of selling the physical copies of this game.
I guess I'll have to hope for someone to resell a copy off of someone so I don't give them my money if this ends up being the case.
I don't see how this is better than Anniversary but it's great they're bringing the original titles and game concept back.

i think we'll get more of these classic Playstation series remasters. Just how well Spyro and Crash did, and Tomb Raider will probably out sell those because of its larger fanbase. These studios that bought these older dev studios would be dumb to sit on money printers.

I never actually grew up with the originals but I think I’m gonna grab this.
Im happy, i got the ps1 versions and i really liked the atmosphere they made, but getting this on switch will be great cause i can take it on the go
Now that is real tomb raider. I can’t stand the modern versions but the first game is still one of my all time favorites.
This is cool, though a tv show where Lara just talks to herself the whole time would be quite boring. Even though that is what I do on a daily bases because I don't have friends. HOLY SHIT I'm LARA CROFT! Though fat, ugly and old. Oh well. That is what classic tomb Raider is all about. To amplify my own world to escape in! Thank you Aspyre! Good to see you happy for once Melonie!
This is nice for those who don't have a PSX to play the originals.
Definitely adding this to the list of games I'm looking forward to. I never played these but as weird as the reboot line of Tomb Raider games can be at times, I found enjoyment in those, particularly the first one, so it sounds like it'll be a great time.

Sorry I never the original Lara but the walkthroughs of the old game look so clunky and outdated, cutting edge at the time. But having played the played the latest games new games, I don’t want to play the old game sorry I have no interest in the stick figure cartoon antique

I'm pretty sure Mel that you got the group of people wrong that call it kornagraphique, it's not the coomers/boomers that live with there mum's or however you want to put it. Lara Croft was an icon from their generation, possibly before you were playing video games? It's the woketards, pink/blue haired weirdos that can never look as good as Lara, that get jealous and make out it's sexist, "omg the male gaze!"
The question now is what will happen with the other Core games? A Last Revelation remaster would be wonderful. For Angel of Darkness, I would prefer a remake that includes remastered assets and the main story from the original game, but that uses classic controls and develops the more interesting areas into classic-style Tomb Raider levels. It could be done on a small budget, and if it goes well, why not complete an Angel of Darkness trilogy with two new games?
