How far can one jetpack fly? How do you refuel it? I finally figure it out.

  1. i ended up going 110,000 M from my base before the frames got really bad. I am working my way back to my base with a lot of goods i collected. Jetpack is life changing on Mars

  2. That was brilliant. Thanks so much for doing that experiment. Science is fun! I just need to learn how not to crash EVERY…..SINGLE…..TIME when I use my jet pack. Lost count of how many restarts and quick loads I had so I packed it away in a locker like an unwanted Christmas present.

  3. The scrubber does not make tanks, you have a bad habit of filling a bottle and leaving it in the scrubber. Also the wells can have 2 extender attachments on it at the same time, they go on either side of the well. So you can have an O2 tank on one side and a Methane tank on the other side of the same well. Have a Great one!!!

No, you have the same number of bottles that I do: 4 oxygen and 3 water all totaled.

Re: Olympic Mons! My search is in vain! I traveled hundreds of thousands of meters away only to learn that the little munchkin of a mountain… the one that you drove through, is in fact what they mean when they say "Olympus Mons!" It is by no means an adequate representation of a scaled down model of it. Despite this, the map appears to be infinite! With a map so big it could easily accomodate it but If your looking for anything bigger you'll never find it because it simply doesn't exist. No thanks to the devs now I finally know …otherwise I would've been searching forever and never finding it. As it is there only appears to be just the one volcano on the map! As opposed to the real Mars that's freckeled with caulderas of which Olympic Mons is the super volcano of supervolcanoes! I apologize for getting you all stirred up over nothing.

  5. You might be able to travel farther if you climb to the max height then glind as far as you can before using alot of methane then use the methane to maintain altitude

  6. This episode reminds me regarding long distance flight for the jetpack and trying to produce/refill methane for it overall, why people use the garage for rover remote/teleport options instead! However, let me counter that by saying, WHEEEEEE! 😁
(The main backpack meters are for your personal oxygen and water folks, not the jetpack, so look carefully for the jetpack ones!
Historically speaking, he forgot he left another O2 tank filled in the scrubber when he left. Like him not grinding airlock doors of found bases, it's a [past game] quirk of his!)
