Best Christmas Day Ever 1415

Merry Christmas everyone! Adley, Niko, and Navey are so excited. All three kiddos are the perfect age to be able to really celebrate this holiday and to get what’s going on. It’s also our very first Christmas in our new house and we are so excited cause it gives us a chance to start new traditions as we make beautiful memories. Our newest tradition is before we open gift, we have a little family picnic upstairs. This way we can still do our morning breakfast routine but don’t have to worry about anyone getting hungry or having a belly ache while we are opening gifts. It’ll also help our chocolate monsters Adley, Niko, and Navey from eating candy from their stockings so early.

Speaking of stockings, that’s going to be the first things we open. We have to check that Santa Clause and his reindeer ate the cookies we made for him. That was something we did on Chirstmas eve and we throw back to it, the kiddos were so cute helping Jenny make the cookies then doing DYI crafts of decorating them as a family. We had snow man cookies and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer cookies. All the classics.

Adley gets a mini baby doll in her stocking, Niko a Marvel Groot stuffy, while Navey got a wish necklace and Frozen makeup. Adley got tons of beauty supplies and i’m like “Why Santa!” I got a jackpot, a stocking full of banana laffy taffy!! With our stocking empty its time to start opening our gifts! The kiddos got games and art supplies, Adley got her Chinese jump rope and Navey her Little Mermaid style doll, one she can do the hair on. Niko Bear got his DJ turn table so that he can make some music next year and host dance a dance party for his sisters.

We exchange gifts, like a wood engraver I got Jenny, or an indoor skate board I got from the family. The girls got cloths and hair stuff for their toy dolls, Niko got books and a flying toy ball. We also got great home made presents from the kiddos, like art from Adley and a beautiful note from Niko. Jenny loves the warmth of a bath so I got her some pillows designed to go in the water. Jenny got me a giant plush turtle shell i can wear and give turtle hugs to the whole family. So greatful for all the presents we got and the memories we are going to make with them. We get down to our big surprise gift from Santa, one for each kids. Adley got a giant tumbling roller to help with he flips, Niko got a drum kit (the thing he wanted most for Christmas), and Navey a brand new big kid bike!! The all love them and are to excited to try them out. But wait one more gift downstairs in the basement.

We head down to find that there are three fabric swings hanging from the celling. The kiddos run and know they are perfect for doing tricks or just relaxing, for sure for having fun!!

We play with our toys and get to spend some great time with family as my mom and dad stop by to say Merry Christmas and see the kiddos. Navey shows them how she does hair on her doll and niko shows off a new battle tops game he got from Santa. We end the night hanging out with Jenny’s family, where all the ladies dressed up like Christmas Trees to go caroling around the neighborhood! Hello neighbor!!
