  1. Great to see you again at Chessington, you guys have been so lovely every time we have bumped into you. We actually were stuck on the grufalo for half an hour and they had to evacuate us just before the lift hill! 😂

  2. Another good vlog, really enjoyed and always look forward again for more. Agreed with Tomb Blaster, could do with scrapping the guns, targets and maybe an refurbishment. Especially since Curse at Alton Manor as that does look & sound epic 100%. Would love to see an Egyptian themed ghost train type mummy ride created? With massive immersive theming inside the ride with darkness, aswell loads of lighting, action and more? Would be epic. Good to see Land of Jumanji progress especially fences down, more views of land itself involving coaster. Hoping we get large & tall plants hiding land from outside aswell tall plants inside hiding the outside, making it really immersive. Would be epic especially the Sign which appears out of nowhere along with the inversion. Still have issue with the same throughput thoughts, still think a second train is needed along with a second station maybe via transfer tracks? Maybe something they might add in future? Depending on queues, popularity and more? But well see? Think Vampire is 100% going to be get refurbished, its too much a good and favourite coaster at the park to be removed, so think it will be repainted, trains replaced with new and maybe a theme update? Would like to see maybe a preshow on it? Make ride more immersive before entering onboard? Doubt it will happen, but nice video, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more videos in future. 😀👍

  4. We visited chessington on the opening day, really disappointed that hardly anything was open, like you say no transparency. Hard earned money wasted, our boy was disappointed didn’t get to go on certain rides he’d been saying he wanted to go on. Hey ho, always next year! Thought about complaining, is it worth it probably not.

  5. No excuses Chessington dark rides can surely be worked on in winter? Hope the entrance fee reflected lack of availability.😊Tomb blaster has needed something for a few years now. I remember when it was an Indiana Jones themed ride, which is where the rolling ball figured. ❤ to Shawn and Charlotte.

  6. Got to be honest with you guys, Chessington wouldn't be my number one choice of park as I like thrill rides so for me Alton Towers would be best for me. Would love to try Thorpe as never been. Great video though guys and the park looks really good, but not for me.

  7. Hi shawn and Charlotte Where are the fountains lol 😊. That's a shame I hope they get them working. Great to see you both at the parks again. I'm looking forward to the season sharing all your trips with you . I myself will be going on a trip of a lifetime in May to florida. I'm going to Orlando and I'm doing all the parks. To say I'm excited is a understatement I just can't wait. 52 years old and I'm like a child . Thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both.as always Tracey 💕 xxxx

  8. Chessington is by far the worst in the group. So many things not working. Not just a the start of the season but all the time. It just feels like the take the customer for granted.

    They need more competition.

  9. Surprised the new wing coaster wasn't ready on Day 1. These day 1 theme park videos I've been seeing in recent days have put me off ever coming to theme park for day 1 of it's opening season.

  10. "Leave the queue line! Leave the queue line!!" 😂😂😂 Brilliant.

Made me a bit sad to see Gruffalo and Tomb Blaster in that state. Tomb blaster and Bubbleworks, as it was, were some of my favourites as a kid. Always remember that bubbleworks smell.

  11. Flooring looks great agreed, but it is slippery when wet, a woman has already hurt/possibly broken her ankle on it, I hope the likes of the security team don’t injure themselves running to problems around the park on wet days!

  12. Went to Chessington yesterday was really disappointing as not only was it packed but rides frequently kept closing and reopening but managed to get on vampire at the end of the day and got on at 7pm when it was dark and had all the purple lights on the track, felt like fright nights 😊

  13. Great vlog as always guys! I went yesterday on opening weekend and I've got to say im envious of your queue times (or should I say lack of) haha! Great to see the park in good shape besides a few key rides being down tho

  14. I’m pretty sure I say this every year along with you guys when I’m watching that it’s unacceptable that rides are closed on opening days of a new season !! If the rides ain’t ready then don’t open the park but saying that they have plenty of time to make sure everything is in operation for guests !! Not just at Chessington either, most of the other Merlin parks have had problems so far

  15. Having just watched your Paultons blog, it’s chalk and cheese how Merlin look after and maintain their parks. What a state Chessington is in! Hope they get their act together in time for Jumaji’s open.

  16. I personally think having only one coaster open out of what is now 5 coasters is absolutely embarrassing…..I’m guessing there charging the normal gate price? There really getting a little too much ‘six flags’ too my liking tbf 😂
