Hey guys! So I finally did it! I cancelled my longest running subscription and have officially ended the Ipsy showdown! I will still recieve some Ipsy so that I can try out the new Boxycharm and Ipsy merger boxes but I feel accomplished that I got rid of my longest running subscription! On to bigger and better things! You can cancel the small bag and still get the bigger subs. I hate the small bag. Cancelled it years ago. The bigger bags/boxes have a much better value. I kept those for now.

The fact that it doesn't personalize enough for you is your fault tbh. If you don't review etc after the bag you don't help them with the customisation.

I canceled mine this month and my 2 boxycharms i bought it cause i thought id get more fenty and tart and really high end make and you do but you also get alot of indi brands which are goid and it put me up on alot of brands i didn’t know about and ended up loving but i feel like the drug store has great products like nyx, loreal, milani and you can buy as you need it, you’re so right i had boxycharm for 4 years and ipsy just as long and its hard to cancel idkw but it is…lol

Yesssss, painting nails with white out i used to do that in grammar school and put polka dots with my permanent markers…lol, but why did Ipsy stop putting prices on the card i see you did get a card with the full size prices but my mom and I didn’t we got info about Anastasia beverly hills eyebrow products 😏which to note we didn’t get, idk…but even the pricing is too much for samples cause you get free samples at Sephora when you buy stuff 🤷🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️

👀 I've been with Ipsy for YEARS… Always buying the add-ons + flash sale items. At one point I had all 3 bags. For the same reason Alex speaks of, I canceled all but my GB Plus (now BC)… The last 2 months, every EVERY thing is sold out. It's like those pesky BC kids came in with all their cash & ravage the shelves even 2 HOURS into my selection option. Oh and plus!! They're charging $8 MORE ($28 ATM) to guarantee my 5 selections are from the hottest & best brands. One of my choice items was Milani mascara. It was already $28 so $36 for premium (??!) brands like Milani.. maybe LA Girl or even Jordana will become an Ipsy Prestige Star brand soon! 😮
I don't understand, because boxycharm IS IPSY .. so what did you do ?? You said you cancelled but yet getting boxy which IS the glam bag UFH SO CONFUSING…
Good timing. The main glam bag has recently officially become boxycharm. So it's basic ipsy, regular boxycharm and then some new thing "icon box" or something
I'm disappointed in ipsy. I get the glam bag and glam bag x… and I'm always disappointed in what I get. I've gotten way better stuff in the add ons. And my bags never match my profile at all.
Is it just me that really misses the Glitter B** boxes? 😂

I've had my glam bag subscription since Feb 2014! 😅 I agree that the personalization based on my profile and reviews has gone way downhill. May be time for me to cancel as well.

This has me really concerned for my Boxycharm since it is now with IPSY. I feel like it’s going to be junk and I am going to be cancelling my Boxycharm.

I've tried to cancel my ipsy subscription three times, and it has not worked yet. I'm just waiting for my card to expire so that it can't charge me anymore.
I cancelled mine as well this past weekend and and I receive emails every day to re-subscribe. Then today I got an email from them and they showed me what my May bag would look like if I did not cancel and re-subscribe.
It’s hard to believe that the showdown is over. But it’s been a slow death anyways.
