When we went through those construction zones in June it had rained the day before! Rutted mud was difficult to ride. Very squirrelly! A guy on a GS1200 went down in front of us and one of our group planted his front wheel in between the pannier and rear wheel of the dropped bike but stayed up right. Took a bit to dislodge his wheel but luckily no damage to either bike. Just part of the adventure.
Great views once again but i do wonder why the don't use the GSA i can get well over 300 miles 2 up on mine .
Need to channel your inner ‘Itchyboots’ for the off-road bits! 😆 …. Just be grateful it wasn’t raining that would have made it a really interesting mudbath!! …. The scenery is endless 😮
Been following your journey TMF and any desire I may have had to visit Canada you have convinced me to stick with Scotland, Lake District and Wales, England yet to be explored .
Brilliant video Andy and Carol, do you think the Tiger 900 GT would cope as well as the GS ?
You’re doing well not to start talking like Sheriff Buford t Justice as per Richie Vidas USA tour !
Splendid series 👍🏼. “Trailers are just wrong” LMAO 🤣, couldn’t agree more. We’re all very proud of your “off-roading skills” with Mrs Flyer aboard. Glad to know you’ve got a very well known bike to travel along with. Well done Andy & Carol 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎
If you're going to make motorcycle travel videos, clean your windscreen!!
My wife has a Ram 1500 5.7 hemi pick up, but she insists on riding passenger with me, so, I get one pannier, my wife, the other pannier and beer box. lol
I would sooner have a trailer on a bike, than a bike on a trailer. Just sayin.
Have you done the BMW off road school in Wales?…it would give you more confidence on rough surfaces/off road….of course! Also help with feet up U-turns 👍
I would really like to hear more from Mrs. Fly. Sitting on the back of a motorcycle for ten hours sounds like a nightmare to me. How does she like it?
I felt sorry for you and Mrs Flyer stuck in all those road works on your journey in Canada, it like they know you was coming (Oh the British are coming better do some road works) Mr Flyer. Again, interesting place and scenery on your tour. If stuck a place tour again many people think of this however Lancashire same lovely roads and place like Pendle Hill and Forest of Bowland to name a few Mr Flyer. Can't wait for next one to see where you going next.
Really great series, looking forward to the next one. Love to do it if budget allows.
This not your best tour program much of the same on each episode
I’m surprised you haven’t had a Bison burger somewhere along the route?
$10 a gallon. seems reasonable for where your at.
Love watching your motorcycle adventure videos. This is off-subject from the video, but I wasn't sure where to ask this questions. I just bought a GoPro Hero 10 for my Triumph Tiger 800. The TFT does not recognize it, so I'm looking at buying some sort of remote that I can use with motorcycle gloves on. Do you have any recommendations?
Enjoying the trek. I noticed you have what seems to be an insta360 on the bars at some points. Did you shoot any 360 footage?
This is one of your best ride series TMF. Really looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for another fun episode. I love these life-on-the-road installments. Eagerly awaiting the next one.
Excellent production. Would like to hear more from the Misses!
We have these road works here in the US , I got stuck in similar one in California with a bike which is further from off road as you can get .. nightmare… Enjoy your travel documentary, great work !
