Armored SUVs are enjoying great popularity. Brabus, a company based in Bottrop, Germany, transforms standard G-Class models into fully armored special protection vehicles. The combination of full armor, made of hot-forged steels, and special glazing gives the colossal car the certificate of protection class VR6, which is mandatory for state limousines, for example. 1. It is ridiculous how much waste is created in this stupid operation for mega rich. It would seem logical just to get bare chassis which I am sure MB can sell, create engine and gearbox and then fabricate the car. It is still beyond me why they take fully completed production car and then throw away like 50% of it. And then retard ecomentalists are chasing us down the street for daring to own our normal cars… yeah sure we (normal people should cycle or take a bus), when Brabus throws away 50% of completely new and completed car. And I am man not only about the cost – do you know how much pollution there is in the parts manufacturing? And they just basically throw that away. There must be better way of making what they trying to make and the only reason they not doing it is because their mega stupid rich clients don't even care about the cost – after all in the process of making 350-750k worth of car, the waste of 15-20k of parts isn't significant enough for them to care about.

  2. The only protection they had in mind was from ammunitions (bullets, rockets, bombs & grenades). What about rollovers, fall off the road, major ambush-related collisions with heavy machinery like tanks, construction equipment / heavy-duty caterpillars, and other crushing objects? What about shock-proofing for people in it and underwater survival gear should they be forced off the cliff or bridge into the water (river/ lake, etc.)?

  3. 350,000 to 750,000 Euros ! Wow that is expensive ! A direct hit from a cheap Russian made RPG would probably disable it . There are better armoured vehicles available for that kind of money ; these are for people with too much money and who care about “ image”.
