  1. Small correction: Butchers bind proc damage scaling seems to have number different factors that increases the damage such as the current coating and how fast you are with the follow up shot.

When the full game releases we will do more in-depth testing.

  2. Cool thing that I found is that switch skill swap and it’s evade hold your bow charge so you can maintain lvl 3 charge from butchers bind, switch, and go straight into aerial aim after the swap or dodge

  3. As a Bow main in Rise, I haven't touched it in the demo because it lacks too many of the skills I like to have. I look forward to see how good it is in Sunbreak full release though.

  4. The new wirebug skill feels lackluster imo. As a bow hunter you aim for the head most of the time, going out of your way to cut tail just doesn't seem right. And it is not even guaranteed once you land the shot like slicing ammo of BG. Sounds interesting, just doesn't quite stand up to the other two skills in the same slot.

  5. Honestly the damage for cutting is worthless, I don't mind since I enjoyed the weapon as it was before, people need to understand that this are toolkits, NOT power creep. The Aerial Aim is way better in terms of damage, and for cutting damage I go with Dodgebolt + Close Coating… the damage is insane and constant instead of depending on one shot and don't miss the next one on the same spot. Also Aerial Aim or Focus Shot help you when using Dodgebolt to move out of the damage jumping vertically or moving fast to any side and recover stamina.
TBH the new switch skill is nothing impressive but it is fine, I love the weapon anyways as it was and will play it no matter what, I am not a speedrunner

  6. yes, nah, the new binds don’t do anything for bow and are less DPS than aerial was
butcher’s bind doesn’t do any extra damage for it’s extra proc cons, instead only just converting to cutting damage. all this does is let you cut tails maybe if you heavy focus on the tail? but you can get tails as drops/carves now anyways so.. yea..

stake remains ambiguous ofc, but personally i don’t think it’ll be worth using for bow

  7. Hey Yo Arrekz, can we get a “sunbreak updated weapons” video and not a “here’s that one other move that wasn’t in the demo for the bow” vids? A holistic video that has a full look at the toolkit would be better. Thanks.

  8. No one is talking about how Focus Shot was buffed; the stamina regeneration was crazy buffed (to the point where your stamina is almost instantly restored). That doesn't necessarily mean Focus Shot is worth using over the DPS switch skills, but I'm probably going to use it during the story of Sunbreak to have an extra positioning and stamina management tool while learning the new fights. Focus Shot is also better for hunters that prefer Charging Sidestep to Dodgebolt as the beginning of the move has i-frames.

Anyway, great stuff from the Arekkz team, 6 more days everyone!
