I hated these when I watched in theaters. I had read the books listened to the BBC version watchd the LOTR. But after watching twice i started loving these. It's a totally different vibe but you can enjoy them guilt free ❤ even PJ admitted it wasn't what he wanted but it was going to be a different director but then it switched partway through and PJ ended up directing. I can agree with the flaws and still love a film 😊
You remember a lot of details and that's great I love it
❤
Trilogy The Hobbit Extended Edition Of The Adventures Of Bilbo Baggin:
(1) An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition
(2) The Desolation Of Smaug Extended Edition
(3) The Battle Five Armie Extended Edition
Hell yeah brother!
Relieved of his life’ that’s the new one😅
RIP Ian Holm (he played Bilbo in LotR and the old version here)
The elves and dwarf thing is super complicated but one thing is that elves were meant to be the first children created by Eru Iluvatar (think god) but one of his Valar (like an archangel) got impatient and made Dwarves. Illuvatar didn’t destroy the dwarves but basically made them go back to sleep while the elves were the first to walk in the world and that’s a part of what is the hostility between the two. It’s far more complex then that and a lot of events added to it but that’s sort of the general beginning of issues. Plus dwarves don’t tend to care much about the outside world, it’s why you don’t see them en masse in LotR helping and such
OMG ❤
Im going to say it again.
Your reactions to these movies are PRICELESS.
Can't wait till you post Desolation of Smaug….
I was in the movie theater going CRAZY 🤣
You will enjoy it!!!!
The ghost that Radagast saw was actually the leader of the Nazgul who stabbed Frodo in Lord of the Rings.
If no one mentioned it, the hobbit will have a different tone to LotR because he made this up as a kids bedtime story for his children so it’s a bit more silly and fantastical
Lol good catch, those are the trolls from LotR when Sam says to Frodo “look Mr. Frodo it’s bilbos trolls”
Great reaction!! 💪🏼
I'm excited for you to see the other 2 movies!
"IS IT BIRD SHIT?!?!"
"He's biting him! RABIES!"
Man, your reactions are always so much fun!
"Bilbo is a god" 😂😂😂
You are awesome my friend
Next The Hobbit Extended Edition Of The Desolation Of Smaug Extended Edition
Extended editions? In any case, I'd look for the *abridged* ones. Once I tried a fan edit (can't remember which one) that cut down the whole fake trilogy into a 3 hours+ single movie devoid of most of the useless crap, the result I found reasonably watchable. Granted, this first opus is not the worst offender; if you enjoyed, good for you! Be prepared though to increasing levels of cringe and CGI galore. I'll follow you all the same, always a pleasure to watch your no-filter reacting!
