The first day of NFL free agency has been a busy one for the Bears — but mostly off the field. David Haugh and Dan Wiederer break it all down. The team did bring in a pair of new players (so far) in running back D’Andre Swift and safety Kevin Byard. What do the guys think of the moves? How many more are still to come? The bigger news is the Bears are now claiming that they’re shifting their focus for a new stadium location to Chicago’s lakefront, close to where Soldier Field is currently. They’re also saying they plan to invest $2 billion in private money. What happened to Arlington Heights? Is this all a ploy to get tax breaks?!? Finally, star cornerback Jaylon Johnson spoke to the media for the first time since signing his lucrative contract extension and offered up some vulnerabilities that we’ve rarely heard athletes discuss. #JaylonJohnson #DAndreSwift #Bears #NFL

I still think we could have kept Montgomery!!!
And draft MHJ!!! We dont need a quarterback!!
How is a rookie quarterback goona get you to a superbowl in 2024???
I am grateful when D'andre was with the Detroit lions he ran all over the bears defense
Dan had absolutely 0 knowledge on Swift. So much for being an “insider”😂
I think Caleb and Jaylon gone be cool as hell. I see a lot of similarities between them
As a longtime Bears fan my advice to Caleb Williams is if the Bears draft him he should not sign, sit the year and enter the 25 draft. The Bears are and have been a dead franchise with the Mccaskeys as the owner.
"Because I know I'm not the one going through this." Hands down, my new favorite player in football. What a powerful message. We all have struggles. They vary vastly, but it isn't ever easy. Preach!
They aren't drafting caleb
Building a new stadium in Chicago is the worst thing they can do.
They killed horse racing by buying the stadium in Arlington Heights. To not do anything with the property would be an insult.
And Chicago is the worst possible location given the population. It’s the east most location with the lake on one side. Arlington heights is the center point of the population. It’s the best location. They really need to get this done in Arlington heights .
I seen him in Play he’s a beast
Pick Caleb Williams and hold onto him using the Patriot’s as leverage to soak the Commander’s out of draft picks. Then Weaponize the Offense with a generational talent in MHJR.
I so glad these dude on the score were wrong about trading Justin Fields. Great insight about their feelings…..nothing tangible. I think the wanted to get rid of fields is because he wasn’t slurping for interviews on their station. I don’t listen every day but has the score interviewed Justin Fields at all? That would explain their subliminal hate for the talented young man.
Swift wasn't any better in Philly. He just got the opportunity to be a featured back. His average per carry was consistent with his time in Detroit.
I don't think Davids computer is beefy enough for the background
