Shack, DON'T get rid of any rebel Dreadnaughts! The rebels are crafty and can upgrade them to Twin Blade Frigates and Assault Frigates, those things are nothing to sneeze at. Just need to get those Tech investments. Also HOTH has a heavy factory if your still looking for one.
hey, shack remember me when I ask if you can build a cruiser/frigate brawler fleet?
Well, I'd like to redo the composition:
– 1 MC80 Freedom/Dauntless cruiser/Dodanna with Krix Maydeen as the flagship
– a lot of MC40-A destroyers and/or Assault frigates as the backbone
– A lot of X4 Gunships as escorts
I think you could have won the space at concord dawn is lure them in to the asteroid field using neb b and corvette you will lose the station possibly but that leaves your corvettes and neb and the mando fighters so they will follow your ships but your fast and nimble so they will split up and follow your ships into the asteroid field and when there low health you can just strike and also when there going to your station you can shoot them from afar and you could have used hammers heads to siege the stations on sullust
I've been watching shack since 2014 when I watched first his homeworld playthroughs. I've been watching him since and I got to say, I love seeing an empire at war campaign on the channel. Reminds me of the good old days when I'd get home from school and see he uploaded another hour long video taking on the empire or the separatists and then enjoying the whole thing before doing my homework. I also love seeing how the mods have progressed since then, it's like a totally new game from what it was 8 years ago. Anyways shack, thanks for entertaining me all these years, and hope you build some Umbaran fighters to take on the imps!
I would definitely say go for frigate/cruiser tech. Tech 1 will give you access to the Twin Blade artillery frigate that Juno commands, tech 2 gives you Assault frigates like Dodonna (both of which can upgrade dreadnoughts to, giving another option on that front), Tech 3 would give you MC40s/MC60s.
Definitely keep your dreadnaught cruisers around so you can upgrade them to AAF MK1s.
first time watcher here, im confused why the ai is hardly making any moves to fight back like i dont see any economy improvements or military movements. Like the empire has moved and taken one planet over the past 6 eps? why is this
You know, I love watching these videos and I try and offer a little advice from player to player, but my comments keep getting these bot accounts telling me to message them. Anyone else suffering this problem? I like to immerse myself in the game cause its fun but if I shouldn't then I won't.

And recording. Saul Nartha reporting. We've been moved to Rhen Var, and the men are content we're closer to the front. We've heard about Kessel and Vassar and a few other captains are getting antsy, thinking we'll not be allowed to do any of the work breaking our sector free to the rest of the Rebellion. That's all I've got to say, Imperial and Black Sun forces between us and Kessel are getting antsy too, almost all ships that try and reach us are destroyed or stolen. Well, Ninth Company has a patrol near a suspected pirate gang hideout soon. Nartha out.

Here's a campaign idea. "Unique" Units Only. Unique being units restricted by a specific build cap (i.e. the Dreadnoughts), units that can be only be made on specific planet's such as Wookie war parties, units that can be constructed by other units, such as the Arc Hammer production, heros, and all of the units you start with. Anything unlocked via tech is not buildable, excluding heros and units with specific build caps. I've tested this challenge and it is possible, albeit difficult, loosing a few key worlds can spell disaster and a lot of Unique ground units are fragile. The Barcuan Destoryers have been a godsend, being fast, packing a lot of fire power, and the fast charging sheilds make it more durable than it should be. Anyways, just brain splurge! I love the videos Shack!
You should go for the Dountless becouse that damn ship is more tanky than the MC80 Liberty and if you get close to ISDs with it well that close range just tear them apart.

Grab Kota from Bothawui, and use him to lead your ground forces. Not jnky is he mega tanky and auto heals, his General bonus and sight range are epic when paired with a couple of MPLT artillery – ground battles become a breeze…
According to Rebel Strategic Command, Kessel is vulnerable following the recent prison riot that has devastated the Empire's outpost. Intel suggests that the key to success lies in capturing the Turbolaser Tower at the center of the map and the sensor node on the east side. This will give us valuable insights into enemy movements. With the help of freed prisoners and an orbital infiltration force, skilled Rebel commanders have a unique opportunity to infiltrate and capture the planet. However, they must act swiftly before the Empire has a chance to rebuild their stronghold.
Turn all your Dreadnaught into assault frigates!
You need to do a playthrough of the Stargate mod for empire at war it's come a long way and you would enjoy it
Shack remember the little hunter groups you had of those light hover vehicles with the crap ton of missiles in them!!! They were next to the U-Wing on kashyyke in the build queue and speaking of U-wings you should try those out to, I imagine they function as more durable LA-ATs but less firepower.
Anyone here know how to do the Zhar mission? No matter which direction I go I can't seem to keep that damn shuttle alive.

i just wanna say your videos are always awesome but i might be wrong however i think you mightve left the difficulty of this campaign on normal than the hardest mode there is maybe thats why the AI hasn't been aggressive really.
i was really hoping for Rieekan saying "ROGUE SQUADRON, WHERE'S OUR COVER?!" since well… that could actually be said in this battle haha
I think it’ll be awesome, if you form a hit and run fleet with those special cruisers as the flag ship. Since they can disrupt the tractor beams of the SSDs. It’ll be cool to use em to buy time to build up ur main forces and defenses since the empire is building up their tech and Vader on the move.
The wood Wookiees build with is as strong as metal, they cover it in the clone wars padawan lightsaber arc
What difficulty is shack playing on? He normally plays expert but I don't think he is this time as the empire is just not being as aggressive as it should on week 35.
I REALLY want to try this mod for myself, but I hear a lot of horror stories on the forums lately about EaW and FoC not launching, with or without mods. Something about the most recent vanilla patch. I'm not a techie, so I'm hesitant about trying some crazy manual fix in fear that it will break something else.
