There’s a lot going on around this simple horn duet from Mahler’s First Symphony

Probably one of the most beautiful and intriguing openings of just about any symphony.

  1. This is wonderful. I absolutely loved it. Have you considered doing ‘Hogwarts Forever’ from the Harry Potter soundtrack, it’s a really nice horn quartet and you could do it the best, better than the actual recording probably.

  2. @scottlegerhorn When you started the horn, did you find it easier to hit the high/low notes? Personally, i found it quite a bit easier to hit low notes that I probably hadn’t been taught by like my band director or sth
And also since i could play low notes easier than high my tutor actually said that I could make a good orchestral low horn player 🙂
