  1. "I find one of uncle's sandles and store it away as a surprise tool that will help us later" HAD ME DYING!! I still cant believe Zuko kept it around until the literal finale

  2. Small correction: Mai has a little brother. Also the scar on Zuko includes his ear.

Also it's heavily implied Zuko slept with Mai prior to the invasion, possibly to give her a positive memory before his potential death.

  3. At first when I clicked the video and saw how long it was going to be, I winced. I thought ‘‘Darn thats too long for my attention span to hold out'' and I resolved to watch, maybe, 10 minutes max and then complete the rest later if I liked it.
…That didn't exactly go to plan…You caught my attention in the first second. Right. From. The. Start.
I couldn't stop watching! The sass is so on brand for him and so addicting to hear. I never even realised that I felt deprived of it from the actual show until I watched your video. Never once thought to myself before that the one thing that the show lacked in, was more Zuko time. Now I'm a changed person. I'm of the opinion that instead of another live action we need to focus our time and money on creating an entire spinoff with some of the bomb episodes retold from his perspective. They would use your commentary.
‘‘We sat down with captain Zhao, apparently it’s commander now. Which, I did not care and did not ask -_-''
DYING. DECEASED. ASCENDED TO THE SPIRIT REALM.

  4. This was beautiful, and well made, this must have taken along time to do this, this was amazing.
but I need so say something… something some kid said once… some kid on Ember Island… your scar is on the wrong side

  5. This is, of course, hilarious & fabulous & satisfying. However, hot damn you really also struck the emotional notes in an impressively poignty way. The whiteboard starts out like a simple prop, but the way eventually honor is all that's left really poetically fits how his honor was there all along & not derived from the other figures in his life. And then the surprise after that is just extra artful, really creates a subtle moment of snap-to-awareness that neatly facilitates the abrupt & sincere emotional tone shift befitting the scene. Spectacular use of simple visual storytelling. The soft subtle audio shifts are super helpful for creating a sense of chapteriness, too, without having to ever slow the pace. And some of the ways you condense/comment on/act certain bits really capture the character in the core honest loving way that the best satire necessitates. Love this, thanks for putting in so much work & personality & making this excellent video!
